Really Surprised!

Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

Trent Duncan has made quite a few short films about famous horror film characters and these 13 minutes here from almost 5 years ago are one of them. And they not only feature one, but two of these characters. Jason Vorhees has a nice little scene with a woman who is sunbathing early in the film, probably the highlight of the film. Sadly Krueger only appears together with Jason briefly at the ending and he is really wasted in here. Apart from that, he looks like a complete fool when he is beaten up by a human. As a whole, this movie is not on par with Notarile's takes on the Krueger character. Worth a watch for fans of the "Friday 13th" franchise, the rest is not missing much.

It's not the best acting or even matching as far as characters go. But it's still very enjoyable. The camera work is pretty good and the props are halloween store budget but it still works in giving you a horror movie feel.As far as Freddy/Ash/Jason go, It's obvious that the Freddy actor is wearing a mask and his voice doesn't have that cockiness to it but all in all you still get the point that it's him. Jason, well, what more do you have to do to be Jason than be silent, hulking, imposing and hellbent on killing? And tho the Jason actor wasn't really any of those they were still kind of believable. And Ash didn't look like Ash at all. He looked more like a chubby version of Wolverine. But he still had Ash's demeanor and wisecracking humor down.Definitely a fan version but one of the better ones that I've seen. If you are a die hard obsessive fan of the horror genre like I am I think you will appreciate this little rendition of a battle I know we would all love to see on the big screen with the original characters.
