Highly Overrated But Still Good

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

This is a mediocre story about a family starting to break a part. The father and husband Jeff (C.T. Miller) is bored with life, the mother and wife Linda (Griffin Drew) misses her husband's company, and their teenage daughter (played by young Lisa Boyle) is disrespectful and always with her boyfriend. Then a beautiful friend of the wife comes to visit and stay, Elke (Shauna O'Brien). She starts to notice the family's problems while staying. Eventually it starts to get interesting as this "friend of the family" starts to seduce them, and it almost helps them get back together. A pretty silly story, but worth a look for the nudity content. There is quite a tender and arousing lesbian scene between Elke and Linda. Okay!

Edward Herman movie features a decent story line involving a disfunctional family caught up in the non-communication syndrome common to families where the husband has re-married to a younger woman who is rejected by the teenage daughter. A bit over played and under acted but saved by the sage advice (and liberal sexuality) of the "heroine", Elke played convincingly by the enticing Shauna O'Brien. Griffen Drew is delectable as Linda, the put-upon new wife, while Lisa Boyle is her usual vixen-like self as the rejecting daughter. The sex scenes are tasteful and erotic but lack emotion and passion, as is so often the case in this genre of soft core films. Still the morale fiber is kind of unique and the ending holds a bit of interest as everything comes together and the future looks considerably brighter for all concerned.

A Friend of the Family has amazingly quite a bit to offer for a b-movie. The important being sex and nudity. But hey, the acting is actually very tolerable. The ladies (Lisa Boyle, Shauna O'brien and Griffen Drew) are amazing to look at with better than average sex and nudity scenes. The dialogue could be better, but then quality dialogue was not high on my reasons for renting this movie. This is a very worthwhile rental.

This is one of my favorite films. This one has Griffin Drew, Lisa Boyle, and Cassandra Leigh. Leigh comes to town and starts seducing every single family member. My Favorite scene is the one with Griffin Drew and Cassandra Leigh. This is true erotique.
