Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

Gangs of Wasseypur is a movie starring Manoj Bajpayee, Richa Chadha, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. A clash between Sultan and Shahid Khan leads to the expulsion of Khan from Wasseypur, and ignites a deadly blood feud spanning three generations. Another Indian film that suffers from the same mistakes that previous similar movies have commited such as slow pacing, bad acting, laughable decisions made by characters and the worst thing of all? A run time that almost reaches 3 hours long and it shouldn't really. This movie was just awful. (0/10)

It is story of A Daku(manoj bajpai) , who seeks revenge from those peoples who constrain him to leave village and make any other way to Earn. But death of his wife again evoke him to take revenge. this story do not end on that daku. the fire of revenge transfers to his children's. in that bad business his two sons were also killed and also he himself killed by others. But his Unique son ( nawaz ud din siddique) succeeded to take revenge. The scene of taking revenge is quite remarkable and admirable. He has been firing again and again knowing that he is already dead. this shows that how much hard he was seeking revenge and happy he was while taking the revenge.

The time-line of the movie spans from early 1940s to early 1990s. The second part of the movie is expected to span from early 1990s to mid 2000s. It's a story of Pathans Shahid Khan (played by Jaideep Ahlawat)and his son Sardar Khan (Manoj Bajpayee, Qureshis, and politician-cum-coal mine owner-cum- local don Ramadheer Singh (Tigmanshu Dhulia)and his son. The tussle between Pathans and Qureshis, and that between Shahid Khan and Sardar Khan on one side and Ramadheer Singh and his son on the other side are the highlights of the movie. In between, one also sees different facets of coal mafia, revenge, rivalries among Muslims, and even love stories too. The movie is intense, gripping, and has a fair sprinkling of cuss words one finds in Bihar and Jharkhand, where the film is based. The music of the film is another highlight, and one needs to watch the film to fully realize the relevance of songs in the film. In short: a must- watch movie for those who love hard hitting movies with great acting from all the actors.
