How wonderful it is to see this fine actress carry a film and carry it so beautifully.

Indian adaptation of Christopher Nolan's memento. The film starts of with the actor Suriya(Ghajini) having temporary memory loss. Actress Nayantara's role is redundant in the film. Asin was good as the lead actress in the film. The ending kinda gets janky. Overall of this film rating 7/10.

Short term memory loss is the main subject the film actually deals with. Short term memory loss is the subject that is inspired from Hollywood movie memento. I however liked the movie Ghajini much more because of its story (with romance at its base) and positive ending. I like positive endings. Thus giving it a rating 8/10.When I watched Ghajini for first time emotions flew through me. I liked the story. Also when I watched it for the first time I liked the action. When I watched it again, it was not as good as watching it for first time.Aamir- Mr. Perfectionist has well carved out his physique and acting for requirement of his role. A.R. Murugadoss is a director worth praising. A spoiler - Ghajini is name of villain and not our short term memory loss patient Aamir (Sanjay Singhania).

A lot of peeps here are calling out on others who compare this movie with Memento saying it's an unfair comparison and that this one is more fun to watch because it's Bollywood and the story's changed a little.No.If you judge movies you have to apply the same standard across the board. It is disappointing to see so many Bollywood movies in the top movies' list which do not deserve to be there at all. Three idiots, Lagaan, Vishwaroopam are all great movies but if you think they are comparable with other Hollywood classics, I'm sorry but you're deluded. Other Indian movies by Mani Ratnam, Satyajit Ray deserve more recognition in this respect.I really hate it when Bollywood films fail to acknowledge where they get their inspiration from if the main premise of a plot is blatantly copied from elsewhere (be it from other States in India or overseas). A movie should give recognition where it's due. To do otherwise is intellectual theft.
