Brilliant and touching

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

This was a cool little urban Thriller that obviously went straight to video but that doesn't mean it ain't good because it is good infact it's great fun like a distant cousin of the Death Wish franchise!!! Ghettoblaster is a fun little Thriller in the vigilante genre about an ordinary guy standing up to the gang crime in his neighbourhood & it has some cool & funny scenes & makes for fun late night entertainment. A very good movie worth finding if you enjoy these types of low budget straight to video Thrillers? i love them

Ex-soldier Travis(Richard Hatch)returns to Los Angeles to visit his parents. He quickly learns that his hood is rife with criminal activity and gang warfare.People are terrorized by vicious punks from The Hammers gang. When his father is killed and his friend is burned alive Travis becomes remorseless vigilante.Very cheesy and surprisingly violent action flick with some jaw-dropping scenes of brutality.Even little girl is killed during gang warfare. There are some humorous moments in this fast-paced vigilante flick in the vein of "The Exterminator" and "Death Wish III".Richard Hatch is a decent hero and Diane Moser who plays Gina is truly beautiful. The clown scene is priceless.6 burned cats out of 10.

Travis (Richard Hatch of Battlestar Galactica fame) returns to his parents' home after four years, little realizing that the neighborhood has gone to pot since. So after a few easily foreseen tragedies, Travis finally gets around to taking a stand against the Latino gangs. This truly is an awful movie. The setup takes nearly 45 minutes. That's a heck of a long time to stick with a movie this badly acted before the action starts. And when the 'retribution' DOES come, it's in lengthy 'montage' form (which granted is a tad humorous) Sadly, this film falls quite short of 'so bad it's good' cinema. I only recommend the episode of Red Letter Media's "Best Of The Worst" episode that this film is featured in, as they show the only conceivably worthwhile parts of the movie, thus saving you from all the tedium of watching it all for yourself.

I bought the movie at a nearby Best Buy for the bargain price of $1 -- so I thought. After watching this extremely low budget, low talent movie, I wish that I could get my dollar back and spend those two hours walking the dog or cleaning my shoes. If you have absolutely nothing better to do and are in desperate need of something to do - read a book!
