Leofwine_draca GIRL IN CAPTIVITY 2: HITWOMAN IN CHAINS is a low budget Japanese exploitation sequel that's better than it has any right to be. That doesn't make it a good film, far from it, but by the standards of the modern pinku film it passes the time quite amiably. This one's about a female assassin fighting against a serial killer and it covers themes of rape and murder. It's a dark and gritty production that explores societal issues as a backdrop and is well shot and acted by this sub-genre's standards. A pity, as usual, that the Amazon Prime version available for streaming is heavily censored.
