A story that's too fascinating to pass by...

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

One of those movie experiences that is so good it makes you realize you've been grading everything else on a curve.

The least required sequel of Danish cinema must have to be this unfunny chaotic western farce, directed by a film school graduate(!), Finn Karlsson, who made one more movie, the porno comedy "I jomfruens tegn", only to be never heard from again. The cast is basically the same as the original "Præriens skrappe drenge", only this time the budget allowed for real horses instead of just ponies! Filmed in abandoned gravel pits outside Copenhagen, this should have stayed there. Dirch Passer hit yet another career low with this. If you must watch, see if you can spot artist Jens-Jørgen Thorsen as a drunk.
