When London teenager Yemi’s big brother comes to live with him from Nigeria, Ikudayisi’s terrible fashion sense, broad Yoruba accent and misplaced confidence with the opposite sex threaten to destroy Yemi’s already small amount of street cred. When the pair are forced to spend the day together on their Peckham estate Yemi is forced to confront local bullies, the unattainable girl of his dreams and his own African heritage, eventually teaching both of them the values of family and self-respect.

Steineded How sad is this?
Twilightfa Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.
Dirtylogy It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
Jemima It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.
Helen Zanzibar A hilarious film which covers a lot of ground. I wish all my African friends in Africa who desperately want to come and live in the UK could see it, they would get a taste of real life in London. An educational film revealing how cultures are created, established and warped. Lots of action, romance and slapstick. It deserves to be shown in film festivals, such as the Zanzibar film festival and others throughout Africa and the rest of the world. The storyline is set in Peckham, London. The issues are complex and relevant. The period of time covers one day. The storyline is believable and coherent. The viewer gets to learn about cultural, racial and historical differences.
