Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

Gremlins is the perfect blend of horror meets comedy and it works thanks to Joe Dante's visual style but also special effects that even now look realistic enough. The film is comedic for sure but it's also pretty damn scary, scenes like the mom going against a few gremlins in the kitchen or just the water turning green with lot's of smoke is like seeing some old 50's horror film and Gremlins really does that without getting boring and in the end it succeeds. (10/10)

Sam Panico Gremlins is packed with sheer joy, from its art direction to character design and devotion to showing just how messy the gremlins can get. Sure, it references It's a Wonderful Life, but it also shows Invasion of the Body Snatchers as another film within the film. It's a film worth watching any time of the year - in fact, it came out in the summertime despite its holiday setting.

veerb-29033 Truly this was a really good movie i loved the mild terror of the look of the gremlins and the cuteness of the mogwai so it was over all a really good movie i would recommend this for a 8 year old. the beginning is a little boring but the middle and the end get the hype up so it is really amazing

It also has great special effects. It is not a good movie if like to see a lot of blood. But if you are some who likes a great horror story you will like this movie. It got a 7.2 which is a good ratting. But this is such a great film the 7.2 is underrating it. I give it 10 out of 10 because it is a great movie. This is one of the best horror movie around. It is not c.h.e.e.s.e.y. If you like horror movie this is a must see. I need more lines and I am running out of things to say.
