Dirtylogy It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Staci Frederick Blistering performances.
deshonj This is a typical B.E.T. movie. B.E.T. should be an acronym for Bull$h!+ Entertainment Television. The script was weak. Some of the dialog was cliché. The acting was mediocre. Jason Weaver is a good actor, but he couldn't overcome the weak script. This movie is stereotypical. Brown (or Black as most people call us) people have more depth than was portrayed in this movie. I would have liked to see a greater depth of emotion from from Jason Weaver's character. These problems had nothing to do with a budget or money. These things were the product of lazy writing.BET airs movie like this because they know that their main audience doesn't demand movies with depth, great scripts, or great acting. Most of the BET audience is 12-25 and just wants to laugh, say 'ooo'/ahh, or wants to watch "juicy"/salacious programming. What a shame.
mistiklady40 I enjoyed this movie. There wasn't any unnecessary sex, nudity or cussing. The story line was very good. I like the plot twist. I had to catch it the second time it came on over the weekend. I noticed things in the movie the second time around that I missed the first time. I thought it was interesting that the married lady seemed to believe things were all together and yet in reality, she needed the Man Stealer her own self. It was the first time in a long time that I saw Wendy play a sane role. I thought Darious played his part well. I really enjoyed and was so into the man stealer winning. I liked her character a lot. Brooke made me want to go through that TV for her trifling self. She seemed to think too much of herself The single girlfriend was indicative of what is happening to so many people. Too many people in your business and they have none.Mary
John Doe This is a good movie and it doesn't deserve the low rating on IMDb. The cast delivered, there's no cheesy lines, and it's the perfect length. The movie knows what it is doing and how long it should be and it gets all that it needs accomplished before the film ends. Also the comedy is well timed and is very subtle, no slapstick, just conversational humor. This is the movie to watch when nothing is on and you want something new.Story-wise it is predictable but it is an entertaining movie. It's one anyone will enjoy. It's smart and its a blast for the family, if you are 15 and older.
danceability-1 Kent (Jason Weaver) is ready to put his playboy past behind him and marry the girl he loves- but first, he has to prove he's changed his ways for good. Convinced that "all men cheat," Brooke (Gabrielle Dennis) hires a reputational temptress (Caryn Ward) to confirm her suspicion that Kent is incapable of fidelity. But, when the professional seductress falls for Kent, the ultimate test of loyalty becomes a fight to win his affection. Torn between the girlfriend determined to make him Mr. Perfect and the seemingly perfect woman, Kent realizes that his grass may be green enough! Also starring Carl Payne, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Nadine Ellis and Darius McCrary. I've been looking at the comments people make on this kind of movies. and all I have to say to the bad critics is a few comments. Most of you who rate these movies based on it's cinematic beauty and character, never take the time to view it for what it was meant. These movies are all great in my book, one being because they are things that I have seen since I was 8 years old and still see today, so I can relate to them. Which is what they are, stories that are told for the enjoyment of people who can relate to them and to show those who cannot, the reality that these characters lived in relation to real life situations. But since we have a lot of people who were born with silver spoons in their mouth trying to make their voices be the base of the percussion line, they can and will never see it that way. Every time they watch a movie their looking at the camera detail, the acting to be 10 stars, the story to be about white houses with picket fences and a happy ending under a rainbow, while we who relate to the story always think the movie was great because it speaks for us, it lets everyone who see's it know that these things do happen, regardless of it's budget and cinematography. So to all you bad movie critics, My advice to you is to stop watching these movies that you cannot relate to, or just stop being a critic and just keep it to yourself.danceability-1 Amsterdam, Holland
