enkjin Honestly, this movie wasn't awful in terms of the technical aspects such as the acting and camera-work. However, it falls short in the cliché plot, veery cringy jokes that are so bad you will find it funny, and the confusing romance story line that I didn't even realize was happening until the very end of the movie. It's a great movie to watch however if you just want to relax and take your mind off of things with a generic rom- com. It's also good for people who know French or English and is learning one of those languages as the film switches back and forth between them quite often. However, you would require a substantial amount of French knowledge to really understand what's going on as I can imagine most beginners getting confused very easily unless there are subtitles.Overall, this is a good language learning film, an okay rom-com and definitely not a movie you want to watch if you're looking for an intellectual film that stays with you once you finish seeing it.

nour-al-huda this movie was a funny movie at if you watch it, it will make you laugh it is not a good movie to show it to kids but for teens and for adults it will be a good movie. in my opinion it is a good movie because it is easy to understand the movie but I have seen better French movies so there is better then that. The movie is also good because it is mix of French and English so even if it is a French movie it is easy to understand what they are saying because there are many scenes where they speak English. It is worth watching it. my favourite part of this movie was when Jeanne was acting at the back of Jennifer to tell mike what to do because it looked very funny also the very last part after the movie was over there was a song that was also a funny part of the movie.

francescopondrelli In my opinion the movie wasn't that great. The story line did interest me, even though the awful acting and immature humour made the movie worse in every aspect. This movie can be great for students or just people who are learning french as their second language because the movie switches a lot between the two languages. The movie also contains many cringe worthy scenes which makes the movie a lot worse and not enjoyable. This might be the worse foreign comedy I have ever seen, even though a few times the movie was funny which made me enjoy it a bit more. The best character in the movie in my opinion was the prison inmate, he was definitely the funniest.

richard-1787 This movie will never come to the U.S., and that's a shame, because it's very clever, and gives a wonderful glimpse of how Americans are seen by the French. It tells the story of a young French actress, of sorts, who earns her living dubbing the voice of a glamorous American TV star who appears in a soap opera that has become very popular in France. The American star decides to quit the series, which means that the French actress will lose her one decent job. She goes to Hollywood to try to convince the American to stay on the show. In the process, we get to see a French director's presentation of modern-day Hollywood to the French. VERY different from the current Franco-American hit The Artist, which is a better film, but still very much worth watching.
