Yawn. Poorly Filmed Snooze Fest.
Senteur
As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review

Wayne Szalinzki, a wacky, absent-minded inventor, is back again but only this time he decides to use his infamous shrink machine just one more time. The first 2 films in this Trilogy were so fun, light and just with a tone of adventure and really good perfomances but the 3rd film feels like a cheap knock off in front of the previous movies. It's direct to vhs, the special effects were horrible (especially the scene with the hot wheels car), the kids were mostly absent and even kind of dumb and lot's of characters have been recast and it was kind of weird. (3/10)

I just saw this movie recently with my boyfriend. This movie was okay; it was funny, but not half as great as the 1989 "honey we shrunk the kids". The only actor I believe to be from the first movie (or even the second) was Moranis. The actress that plays Diane is too young to be the same mother that was played by Strassman, who is much older and does not look anything like her. The movie was kind of funny and creative though. I guess since they had amovie with the kids being shrunk and blown up, they had to do one with the adults. But the first movie was made a decade before and the second one was made like five years before, so it was like the first one (and maybe the second one) was forgotten by the time this movie came out. I mean when the second one came out, it was only a few years later, so the same genration of children were still familiar with it. But I guess it kind of brought the first movie back so the next generation of children could enjoy the Szalinskins.

If you liked the first two films, then I'm sorry to say you're not going to like this one. This is the really rubbish and unnecessary straight to video, probably TV made sequel. The still idiotic but nice scientist Wayne Szalinski (Rick Moranis) is still living with his family and he has his own company, Szalinski Inc. Unfortunately his wife wants to get rid of a statue, Wayne is so stupid he shrinks his statue and himself with his brother. Then he shrinks his wife and sister-in-law too. Now the adults have to find a way to get the kids of the house to get them bigger. Pretty much a repeat of the other two with only one or two new things, e.g. a toy car roller coaster, swimming in dip, etc. Pretty poor!

This film is preety bad. The only member of the original cast left is Moranis and he is very poor in this movie. To be fair him and the rest of the cast try their best but fail miserably thanks to a diabolical script. The effects are OK, but there is a stupid subplot about a boy trying to go out with a girl at a party and it just doesn't work. Anyway, there were one or two moments I found funny but other than that it was crap. The parts which are most annoying are the scenes with the teenagers which were compeletely unbearable. It seems that Rick Moranis can only get work through this movie and he may now need to move into TV if he wants to get anywhere.
