Manthast
Absolutely amazing
Sammy-Jo Cervantes
There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Freeman
This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Jakoba
True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.

A fun little short!Wow! What a fun little short! Love it. This film is proof that NZ film making is alive and kicking - and finally has grown up enough to stop taking itself so seriously. This tight little script finds the unique antipodean humour that we have all come to know and love, but that which is rarely pulled off in films from start to finish. This fast paced gem will suck you in and spit you out before you've had time to find your seat belt, fully recommended.IMDb has told me that this review is not long enough, yet 'attempts to pad the comment with junk words' will also block me from commenting on further films - The stupidity of this blows the mind. OK, so what else can I tell you: This short film is about a man who catches a taxi across town on a dark and rainy night. It has a great sound track, it's beautifully shot, and has high enough production funding to make it look like real good movie. And being NZ I can only imagine a lot of love has gone into this film too. It's only a short watch at 10 minutes, or thereabouts, so there's really nothing to stop you taking the time watch it. What more to say? Well if Goodbye Pork Pie / Smash Palace / or Boy was your main course, Honk if You're Horny would make a fine dessert (or smoky whiskey if you prefer) to top off your night.
