This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Softcore porn used to heavily revolve around thrillers, with viewers wondering what fate would befall Shannon (Whirry, Tweed) or other buxom beauties. There were, and still are, a few movies that are just about fun and partner switching in suburbia. Then we have the "comedy" genre of soft-core, which has also been around for a long time, but really picked up steam with all the Evan Stone/Beverly Lynne/etc. movies about babes from outer space/Old Salem/what have you and their wacky adventures.Apparently those actors either aged out or Cinemax just wanted to show something else, so now we have this thing Hypnotika, with Frankie Cullen and some women I didn't know. The basic plot is that Frankie Cullen wants a lady only to realize she thinks he's a creep and doesn't want him. He hears about "Hypnotika," which initially conjures up an idea of using hypnosis on her to get his way. Thankfully they don't go that route, but the route they do take is confusing, padded, and has an odd ending. This movie is a great example of why naked people writhing around each other often isn't very sexy. I have no idea if it was even supposed to be sexy - if it was they didn't do a great job of indicating this. You have things like two women slapping their breasts together, or women bending over as another woman is standing behind them, or one woman who makes "sexy" faces into the camera that look like an audition video that would probably get laughed at. You have various combos simulating sex as the soundtrack prattles on. Frankly, the whole thing seems tired. The soundtrack is probably the most interesting thing about the film, since they seem to try to send the whole thing up as best they can. Most of the lyrics are too explicit to repeat here, but my favorite was, "Stick that rump out...make him give a horny shout." It's good for a laugh, but doesn't exactly get you in a mood. There's a shot near the end of the movie of Frankie Cullen on the bed in his tight briefs. And that one understated scene is more erotic than anything else in the movie combined.

I fell asleep watching cinemax and woke up to this garbage. Let me first say that I enjoy some softcore porno every now and again. It's not really self pleasuring material but like seeing naked ladies and can appreciate the work the put into looking good. However, this was just laughable. I could only stomach this for like 15 minutes. The first scene I saw was with the 2 chicks dyking it out in the doctor's office. The dying doctor is like 55 years old, has a double chin, a c-section scar, skin like leather and breast implants that look like they're about to burst through the skin. The other chick has like double F tit implants that clearly have burst through the skin a number of times. There are scars all over the beach ball sized titties and quite frankly it just looks painful. I honestly felt sorry for both of them and found myself wondering what went wrong in their lives that led them to this. Then you see the chick the guy is lusting after and she's like 60 years old. She had loose skin in abundance to say the least. When you can see the crow's feet through the 3 inches of makeup on your face, it's probably time to hang up the thong and stop embarrassing your high school age grandkids. I think maybe the casting director fell asleep during auditions and just picked names out of a hat. It was by far the worst softcore porno I have ever seen. It was slightly less arousing than watching Shrek. At least my penis doesn't retreat into my abdomen while watching his big green ass. Thanks for the nightmares cinemax
