It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

This film tells the story of a film star who gets paranoid about stalkers. Ultimately he becomes a stalker, and blurs the boundaries of reality and his fantasies."I Love Your Work" has a great cast, and the ability of the filmmakers to ensemble so many recognisable faces using a low budget is quite amazing. However, the film itself is a complete wreck. After just five minutes I made up my mind that the film was terrible, and it did not get any better throughout the whole movie. The visuals and cinematography are so pretentious and self indulging. The filmmakers do not see to realise that it is not interesting to watch people smoke, or watch people develop photos in a dark room. The plot is a little complicated as it has many imaginary scenes, and the presentation of it is rather poor, making the film very confusing to watch. It is unfortunate that it becomes one big confusing mess. I can't say I love this piece of work.

The life of the so-called celebrities is at the center of this film. Adam Goldberg, an actor himself, directed and contributed to the screen play. It's a good thing he decided to stay behind the camera this time, something other novel directors don't seem to understand in their attempt of making their own statement in the movies.Gray Evans, appears to be a paranoid actor. On the one hand, he welcomes his status as a leading man in the business. On the other, he sees stalkers with most of the people he comes in contact. Gray, who is married to his idol, Mia, an actress, who he has greatly admired before their marriage. Mia is the source of what appears to be his own self-destruction. After all, how many premieres and red carpets can one take and still stay sane? Gray, who can't walk the Los Angeles streets without being recognized, suspects one of his fans for stalking him. The casual visit to a book store puts him in contact with a man who he also suspects is the source of all the bad publicity about him that starts appearing in the tabloids. The gossip is that his marriage is about to end. Gray also starts reflecting on his past relationship with the mysterious Shana, as he mixes reality and illusion. He has to rely on an Israeli security man named Yahud to protect him from the danger lurking outside.Giovanni Ribisi, who plays Gray, is a young actor who has proved he has what it takes to do good work. His work suffers because of the demands on his playing his obsession. Franka Potente, a good German actress is seen as Mia, the object of Gray's affections. Jared Harris has some good moments, ditto Joshua Jackson, and the rest of the cast. Vince Vaughan and Elvis Costello appear as themselves.Perhaps Mr. Goldberg will find the right material on his next time directing.

The first time watching " I Love your work" I didn't like it,It cut too fast and I couldn't find a place to grab on and hold on.But I decided to give it another try last night and I love it.Maybe you have to read too many tabloids to get it,like I do.And it doesn't hurt to have an understanding of mental breakdown.Which I also come equipped with.It has one of the best casts in a long time,Giovani Ribisi,Franka Potente,Christina Ricci-hot as always,Jason Lee-I wouldn't want that ChiMo looking' dude stalking me!,Wait you guys know the cast your on IMDb. If you did/didn't like this check out Adam Goldberg's short "Running With The Bulls".You're bound to like/hate that too.oh,"BOund" is on.Jennifer Tilly is hot.

i had high hopes for this movie, seeing that I liked Giovanni Ribisi on My Name is Earl, and i like Jason lee. i watched this movie and any hope i had for it was destroyed halfway through. there was hardly any plot progression throughout the entire movie and it was so odd that i felt i needed to pick up the cliff's notes to understand it. the story twisted and turned and included things that were kind of stupid and introduced subplots which were not later revisited and explained. in fact, very little was explained in this movie. i did however enjoy Jason lee's role, albeit very small. he brought a certain realism to stalkers' obsessions. whatever other deep themes were waiting to capture my attention didn't, and the rest of the movie just plain sucked.
