A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

I have been viewing a few Italian sex comedies, and found this little gem - a Mexican sex comedy.Comandante Martínez (Jesús Ochoa - Nicotina) is investigating a string of murders where all of the women have a big smile on their face. They died very happy. What's the coroner say - they died in the throes of major orgasm! Outside of Ochoa, the main attractions of the movie are the extremely attractive women that get murdered. He does solve the crime, and manages to get rid of some problems with his new found luck. He even manages to perfect the technique to his everlasting advantage.

Commander Martinez, a police detective, is puzzled when a lot of call girls appear dead in Mexico City. What really intrigues the experienced cop is that every one of women he discovers appears to be laughing at the moment they were killed! What could have given them such a happy death? Well, they all appear to have died from a heart attack caused by lethal orgasms!Antonio Urrutia, the director, working with Javier Valdes, who also wrote the screen treatment, created a light sex comedy that also satires other evil things in the Mexican society, like corruption, religion, and other issues. The best thing in the film is Jesus Ochoa, who plays Martinez with gusto. The film is mildly funny and while it could have been better, offers some fun for the casual viewer.

Yeah, this movie may have some funny moments, but it really isn't worth it. It's like taking one of the early 80's Mexican sex comedies and then giving it a better budget and better actors. The movie may have been a funny light comedy if they hadn't decided to add a boring unnecessary sub-plot, and a friggin half hour of pure exposition. The only good thing about this picture is that while the plot is worthless, the movie really does a good job at making fun of Mexican society e.g. ; Corrupt authorities, bureaucracy, machismo, alcoholism. etc.
