Fluentiama Perfect cast and a good story
SnoReptilePlenty Memorable, crazy movie
SanEat A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
Iseerphia All that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.
pressboard Not sure why it has a 5.4. It was definitely entertaining and interesting throughout. The acting was above par and intense. All stories have been told before and this one is no exception. The way it is told is unique and it has a twist ending which you do not see coming. For a $5 Million budget you get a $50 million dollar movie. Not sure if this had wide or even limited release, but it deserves it. Director Shane Abbess is an exceptional talent and I hope more people watch it (on Netflix). This story has been told many times before but largely without the talent present here. I rate it in the top 10% of the best SciFi movies. Enjoy!
FreedomWatchTower A Movie filled with known Story, Plot devices and Atmosphere, or as one Reviewer put it "The Crazies in Space". While this might be true in some fashion or another it oversimplifies the whole experience, if one would describe it with 3 Movies you could say it kind of is a mix of "Alien" (1979) (for most of the Atmosphere and corporate business critique on a Ship, and Sending a Team to check whats going on), "The Thing" (1982) (for its Paranoia between the main characters, and whose actions are driven by it) & "The Signal" (2007) (& Last but not least this little Horror Indie Gem, for its Signal that drives people into Psychotic Maniacs attacking each other). The biggest complain i have with this Film is that while not being the most unique Film of its genre, it sure shows its potential, because you can see from the get-go that the Movie suffers from a way too tiny Budget. You can see it on the Sets, on the sfx and even hear it on its Score, but still with all the cheap looking sets you can see what could have been if the minuscule Budget of 800K was pushed to 5 Million. There are lots of Scenes where you can see the Beauty in Lighting and Color, Camera movements and even some acted out Scenes by the protagonists and their conflicts. Another complain is the Actor of the Main-Character, while he is not the best actor (and not that bad either) there still are a couple of scenes where he overreacts or simply reacts a certain way which does not really suit the Scene (this could also be put on the Directors corner), This Actor would have been better suited if he had a different Role. Its not the most original Work, but it is hard to come by a decent Scifi Flick at this day and Age, so if you are a Hardcore Scifi Horror Fan, suit yourself and enjoy the Ride, as for my part i enjoyed the Film and em looking forward to what the Director is working on in the Future and hope that he will work himself up to a Point where he gets a Higher Budget to which he can better tell a Story.
krocheav Now here's an Aussie movie that make you ashamed to be Aussie. If you have the fortitude to sit through this and work out what's going on, then your as foolish as this film maker. You know it's going to be bad when a movie starts with several long written explanation cards trying to set you up for what's about to happen...It's about some top-end elite space rescue team who are jettisoned into a super-deadly toxic situation - then remove their protective clothing - enter deadly infection. Next thing we know they all begin to bash the living tripe out of each other, at the same time as trying to out-swear a swear-fest - I mean this is non-stop 100 decibel verbal and physical abuse - the writer/director is probably hoping you will forget to notice the lack of solid story line. It's the 23rd Century and here they are running around with space guns that look as if they came from a two dollar shop and much of the internal space craft equipment runs on old rubber belts. Most of the computer screens are 70's type mono-tone green - how coool is that!. This filmmakers name: Shane Abbess, has to go on the top 10 'must to avoid' lists. If he/they make it big in America it will be because of the comic-book mentality. Run, hide, before you loose 2hrs of valuable time you could invest watching a true classic re-run. To think Australian tax payer 'Arts' fund money went into this abomination...who chooses these projects, and who keeps them in a job?. Beware of the loonies who raved - lest you become one!

It will be due to boredom! The film is set in the near on a space station where a virus has killed an entire crew and their is only one survivor. A new team is sent on a mission to download the information on the virus and get out of their but when they become infected they enlist the help of Will to get back home. The premise is not that unique we've seen it done before however it can be fun, it can be scary, and have dread but this film does not have any of that. The characters play like cardboard cutouts and they don't present any interesting qualities or likability, with just looking at the camera and just swearing and shooting stuff. It all rounds up to a boring space horror that doesn't present any memorability, good action, fun, or extravaganza, I'm giving Infini a half out of five.
