It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

I saw this film at Tropfest 2013. I loved this film. There are so many meaningless shorts out there that feel like they are just a chunk of a bigger film. Inside not so. An amazing piece of filmmaking, rich in layers, with a morbidly disguised storyline (and good message) with some black humor thrown into the mix to add even more to the film. The acting is amazing by the entire cast, especially the lead actress, Shannon Ashlyn, who has no lines, but every scream, every tear, every expression that we see from her is believable and heartbreaking. The doctors are great to, adding some humor to the mix. The production quality is top-notch as is the production design (made on a budget of $2000 if you believe the information on this page). It is very well written and the direction is superb, with great pacing. The ending is amazing and will bring a tear to your eye. It did for me. A must watch!

I noticed this short in the recommendations section of a film called 'Miss violence'. Initially I thought this is a full film but then I noticed the duration is just 7 minutes. So why not give it a try? I looked up for it in facebook and I got the link to watch the film. About the film, it is a commendable work from the makers. It happens in a mental asylum. I am not giving further details as anything further can spoil the thrill. The editing, direction and acting are all good. The storyline was kind of thin, but then you can not expect a long story in a 7 minute short. The film looked very professional. It is not a must watch one, but you can definitely give a try. Well made short.
