It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

.Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

The only reason I saw this so called movie is because I was in the hospital with nothing to do and my roommate had a couple of DVDs and she unfortunately chose this one. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this is the worst "movie" I've ever seen. I can also say with the same conviction that watching this "movie" was the worst part of my hospital stay and I was there AGAINST MY WILL (because I was a teen at the time).
Whatever you do don't watch this movie... I mean you have free will and all but I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

I've watched this time and time again. It's a warm comedy and keeps me in stitches every time.
That Al Pacino is in here as a love struck suitor of Adam's Jill character shows he doesn't take himself too seriously and he plays it with great humour. Gawky Jill might be annoying to some, but for me I love it that she's such a warm hearted character while her brother Jack is a stiffy.
Such a shame so many hate it.

This movie is disrespectful of the viewer and is nothing more than one long commercial. I know, that sounds like an exaggeration. Unfortunately it's actually an understatement. Right from the first scene he's promoting Pepto Bismol (!!) and Diet Coke. Next scene American Airlines. And so on....for the ENTIRE MOVIE. Oh yeah, he's an "ad executive," which gives them convenient opportunities to show actual full length commercials. This includes a massive commercial for Dunkin Donuts that is even longer than a normal commercial you would see on TV. They even incorporate Dunkin Donuts into the main plot. So, somehow this....movie....has a budget of $79,000,000. This is a huge budget, and many fantastic movies have been made on similar or lower budgets. Yet this movie looks like it was made on a budget of under $1,000,000. There are indie films made for WELL under a million that look much better. WHERE DID THE MONEY GO? Oh, that's right, it went to paying Adam Sandler. This entire thing was a cash grab.Adam Sandler is playing audiences for a fool.
