Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

Jai Ho movie is a must watch because This is a mass film which deal with Socail Issues. Making these type of films will make the social awareness to reach maximum people. I remember once Salman Khan told that he acted in a movie Phir Milenge that no one watched because it was treated as an art movie.. So he decided to make movies with messages & social elements through Mass appeal. This will make u reach out maximum number of people. Jai Ho is one of that kind of movie. It has all Salman Khan elements + very very amazing scenes that will make u cry. After watching this movie u will feel that we should do something for the society. There are a lot of emotional elements in the film. Was the above Habeb Al_janaby

This movie has been bashed by critics and many audiences, even the Salman Khan fans. Why? It's not a critically acclaimed film, is a typical masala movie, but is not as large as his previous movies.HOWEVER, we need to look at the message the film is trying to convey through a story that isn't "lecturing" and is keeping it simple. No matter how simple the message is, it's important it spreads in the world today. This is exactly like 3 Idiots, but less polished and a generic storyline. But hey! Just watch it to relax and have fun.If you are looking for a fun movie to watch, do it! If you are looking to watch critically acclaimed films, stick to watching non-mainstream cinema. Perhaps even films that showcase in film festivals.

after along time salman arrives with something issue based, and have casted tabbu,as his sister, why? is she elder then salman?or they need only 20 year old girls to romance bulky, eye bagged salman?tabbu should not contribute in such dumb projects, even thespians like nadira babbar, give us shock, ensemble cast is full of uninspiring known dull faces, and story, screenplay is heavily overstyled, far far away from reality, single salman roaring enough to blow 100 mens in air, such scenes are heavy disappointment and raise questions of liability of our cinema, its not just a bad craft, indeed a caricature of bad cinema. even if does well on box office,it brings shame to makers abt their representation of corrupt society and how loosely they plotted it,utterly depressing adage on modern consumist society.

Sohail Khan's 'Jai Ho' is mediocre entertainment. Here's a film that offers entertainment, but only in bits. However, Salman is in form. 'Jai Ho' Synopsis: An ex-army officer initiates a unique idea of propagating social responsibility among ordinary people and in doing so, crosses paths with a powerful political family.'Jai Ho' gives a noble message, which deserves to be appreciated. But, as a whole of a film, 'Jai Ho' appeals in parts. The journey of its protagonist, played nicely by Salman, begins tepidly, but gathers momentum, more-so in the second-hour, when he's pitted against an evil politician & his family. The first-hour wastes time in subplots and a romantic-angle, that hardly leaves a mark. It's the intense second-hour when things begin to arrest. Even the climax for that matter, is good. The Screenplay works primarily in the second-hour. Sohail Khan's Direction is strictly okay. Production Values are below the mark. Cinematography, Editing & Art Design, are standard. Action-Sequences are sharp. Music by various artists, is passable.Performance-Wise: Salman is in form. The superstar enacts the righteous & tough protagonist with sincerity. Debutant Daisy Shah doesn't get much scope, although her dances are graceful. Tabu is commendably restrained. Danny is ever-impressive. Amongst Others, Santosh Shukla & Mukul Dev are superb. On the whole, 'Jai Ho' is fair.
