In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

I don't think it is fair to say these movies are bad. Over the course of the series, we become fond of the characters in the special unit. I also became fond of the bad guy, Seth Rydell. Even though he is a criminal, he has a sense of justice, he cares about his daughter, he has an ironic sense of humor, a much appreciated self irony. Compare with the real bad guys, the mafia characters, and it is no wonder why we cheer and feel good when they are killed. Someone mentioned that Falck is a village idiot who somehow dispatches one trained killer after another. Well, why not? This is not real. It is a fantasy! And Falck is our hero for going after organized crime who threaten to destroy our communities. In a perfect world all these non-humans would not excist. When we watch Johan Falck we are reminded that what is good will prevail in the end. We are also reminded through the lives of the agents, that even though we are imperfect, there is a lot of kindness and compassion in us, and that this is what we need to fight for, to not forget!

This film ends the Johan Falk franchise. Admittedly, I've only seen the last five of these, but it doesn't matter. Where some franchises borrow from Shakespeare and epic stories, this one loans from The Gallery Of Sour Faces, as seen on the movie poster. No happy? No.Falk, played by the anthesis of miens, Jakob Eklund, is out to save himself, his family, his colleagues and to avenge everybody, while acting the doused village idiot, somehow still being prone to mass- killings, despite constantly being hounded by expert killers from the Belarus. One is left none the wiser after the franchise has ended, really. There's simply nothing to take away from this, not even the action, which is plain and dodgy, even seen from a gun-bullet-body perspective; I hoped to gain some kind of ham-fisted pleasure from this, but ended up in dismay. I must confess that I expected it.

This series is what Beck should have been exciting, realistic drama, love and action. The last part flying start and run at maximum speed through the entire film. I thought it was clearly the best part of the latest works. And clearly a worthy ending. When Patrick died in the last part, so went a little air out and be noticed that series is about to end but this was the action from start to end, and several times I had to rewind and check again not to miss the details.Absolutely wonderful ending. and THANKS for this series, it has been the gold worth. !!
