Laikals The greatest movie ever made..!
GazerRise Fantastic!
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Patience Watson One of those movie experiences that is so good it makes you realize you've been grading everything else on a curve.
pstueber Based on a true story. Scenery so authentic! The jungle and the river rapids vivid and real. I Thought Radcliffe performance was as authentic as it gets for someone truly lost in a jungle. A great performance. This movie stayed with me the next day. It's one way I rate a good movie. I was impacted By the survival instincts of humankind. I especially liked the performance of Radcliffe when he started the hallucinations and the desire to let go. The cinematography deserves an Oscar. Awards to Radcliffe!
krocheav Jungle certainly packs an exciting punch. With a story based on the travel exploits of Yossi Ginsberg and interestingly adapted from his book by screen writer Justin Monjo, it takes the viewer on the journey of a lifetime. You won't easily forget the extremes offered up by unrelenting Bolivian landscapes and rivers - not to mention a darkly suspect guide perfectly played by Thomas Kretschmann. The entire cast superbly render their assorted characters drawing us deeper into this above average, based on fact survival drama. Australian horror director Greg McLean (Wolf Creek) might not have been the best choice for this intelligent offering but it's probably his best work to date. Australian Cinematographer Stefan Duscio creates a strong visual style giving the film a striking look - while Melbourne born composer Johnny Klimek, adds a fine atmospheric score. A few minor flaws are overcome by a hard working crew bringing to life an intense true story.
bryangary65 I enjoyed the film.Always more relevant when it's based on a true story.Ratcliffe is always giving his best despite a dodgy Israel accent, and in the scenes when it is just him and the jungle it's quite convincing
karma-08218 I really enjoyed this film. Daniel Radcliffe did a great job as the lead character. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and wondered if I'd be thinking of him as Harry throughout the movie, but that was not the case. I was engaged in the character he was playing. The other actors in the movie did a great job as well. The plot moves along at a good pace. There are a few parts that drag here and there, but overall I was interested through the entire movie. I felt for the characters and really was rooting for them. After finishing the movie it led me to read more about the true story. I would say definitely give this movie a watch.
