Greenes Please don't spend money on this.
Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
Rio Hayward All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Paynbob It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
t_atzmueller I just had to glance over the plot-keywords and stumbled across this little gem: „Prodigy". Of course I spilled my coffee and people around me thought that I had become hysteric, asking whether they should call a doctor but that was worth the best laugh I had in a very, very long time. Comparing "Prodigys" like Mozart and Bieber is like comparing Beluga caviar to a greasy hamburger at McD's.But then I thought about the "good, old days", when there used to be talented musicians, who worked their way up, who recorded timeless classics that can still be enjoyed in a hundred years. I thought about the future, what savvy producers might find on YouTube in the next hundred years and throw on Madison Square Garden, so they can record a "documentary". Suddenly the joke wasn't so funny anymore. Then I looked at those screaming 10-15-year olds in the audience, imagining in a few years time, that they might be a wee bit embarrassed, blushing when admitting to their boyfriends that they had actually been to a JB-concert. However, I felt for the parents, who had to net out their hard-earned money for this tripe. I even felt a little sad for the Bieber-Kid, thinking what inevitably will happen to his "career", once the hype has died down and the money-monkeys will cease to whisper delusions of grandeur into his naïve teen-ear. Perhaps there will one day come a sympathetic soul, who'll point out the "careers" of Frankie Lymon and a whole legion of similar wrecked teen-stars (but I doubt that somebody like that would make it past the bodyguards). The mandatory 1/10 (and maybe one day IMDb will give us that 0-rating, so it can be bestowed on "works" that don't deserve one point; it worked for Roger Ebert, did it not?)
kyle-richmond96 this is an atrocity of great proportions no matter how you look at it this movie was just clips of Justin's career and could be shortened down into a 5 minute advert for all the joy you get (which isn't much at all) a movie should not be made for one group not even a documentary this movie made just for beliebers is a great big money making sham that took time from my life i will NEVER get back i may even need a neuro surgeon to remove synaptics in my brain and permanently purge the memories from my mind PLEASE SOMEBODY SHOOT HIM i was not a hater of the bieb until this movie but after this i have realised that bieber is just an egotistical little boy who is playing celebrity he is just out to make a quick buck by teasing little girls into making him rich by making there hormones go crazy in summary what a pile of **** please remove it from cinema history.
treregoblue Title says it all, this movie is so bad it should be illegal. The entire plot, if that's even the word for it, is centered around this kid and his rise to "stardom." Frankly, the entire movie is a self-centered, egotistical, and conceited mess all delved into one another to tell this story. This film is a perfect example of how degraded our society is, that this kid has all this popularity and the media portrayal of him just promotes it ten-fold. Amazing how talent nowadays is predicated upon the quantity, not quality, of records sold.Themovie itself is just utter trash, and the ratings of the critics just further prove my point of how much of a kiss a$$ they are.Avoid this movie AT ALL COSTS, also avoid this kid's music at even greater costs.
David Taylor We follow our hero, the young Bieber as he begins a quest across a foreign land. Being first discovered in his youth, the would-be pop star learns that life among the stars can be quite different than his arctic home in Canada. An army of followers later become true loyalists to his cause to purge the Earth of all the lonely girls. Some make big sacrifices, most are in the brink of tears as they witness the magic that is Justin Bieber. The gods become angered at young JB, for he prize possession, his voice, is in jeopardy. In a truly pivotal moment in his life, Justin must decide whether to continue creating timeless memories for his eternal fans or abandon them and watch them fall into a life of deep, dark, singleness. In the end all audience truly will become "belibers" and eventually you too will catch the Bieber fever.
