Reviews

Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
Connianatu How wonderful it is to see this fine actress carry a film and carry it so beautifully.
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Keeley Coleman The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
aaronbir This movie was so totally interesting Storyline is superb screenplay is good editing is fine and the direction is good Songs they were really good I like the title track KAAL DHAAMAAL and tauba taubaVivek was good John is excellent esha is not bad Lara does fine performance Ajay devgn did well in his third negative role after deewangee and khakee This movie is definitely worth watching7/10 decent
arsh7777777 I watched the promos. I didn't really pay much attention to the promos. The first screening and boom, so many videos on youtube. The one of SRK's item song really got me to go and watch the film. I sat through the first 20 - 30 minutes...bored. Then it picks up. The ending is very ironic. This movie is very hyping. My ratings for this movie are 1) Story - 9/10; 2) Direction - 7/10 (The Weaker point); 3) Performances - 8/10; 4) Character Development - 8/10; 5) Overall - 8/10. In my point of view, this movie is nice. If you're not such a big fan of thrillers, then this is not for you to watch because it is...well... it's a thriller.
Chrysanthepop 'Kaal' was quite a mess of a movie. I found most of it unintentionally hilarious. Soham's direction is pretty unstable. It's as if hé himself is trying to see what happens next (when it's all quite predictable). All the performances are very bad. The camera seems to focus a lot on John Abraham's torso and the actor himself is mostly wooden. Ajay Devgan sounds sleepy all the time and looks uninterested. Esha Deol and Lara Dutta where designer outfits and run around in the jungle. While the former does nothing, the latter loudly overacts. Vivek Oberoi is the only one who acts and gives a decent performance. The 'scary' scenes provide decent comic relief. The jungle scenes were rather nicely shot (though cinematography sucks at many places) and it felt good to see a change of location rather than the dancing in New York wearing skimpy outfits. What a drag of a flick though.
invisman This movie is a rehash of a Malayalam movie released last year. It's name is Aparichithan (means "stranger") starring Mammootty. Even that movie was bore. These guys took the idea from it, added the tiger episode and made it Kaal. What a boring stuff.The only saving grace is cinematography. Salim-Suleiman's background score is utter nonsense. This duo thinks making some sort of noise makes people chill. They forget the emotion that is to be conveyed in every scene. Fellows, if you want to sustain in the industry, better start all over again. Noise and Music are different.Nowadays I only go for Taran Adarh's review at IndiaFM. For which ever movie he says bad, it will be a classic. For whichever he gives 4-5 stars, it will be mega crap (Kaal, Veer Zaara). Some movie makers invite him for special premiere shows. For those movies, he will give 5 stars. What an idiot.
