When disgraced Australian TV celebrity, Chris Masterman, gets stranded in a small Outback town, he crosses paths with Charlie, an 11-year-old Indigenous girl with a deep love for animals. The pair form an unlikely friendship and team up to rescue and rehabilitate orphaned joeys (baby kangaroos), the endeavour proves to be life-changing for them both.

Ceticultsot Beautiful, moving film.

StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

Dirtylogy It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
