Kickassia is a six-part feature-length original online film created by Doug Walker and the rest of the gang at Channel Awesome (including the Nostalgia Chick, Linkara, Spoony, the Cinema Snob, Marz Gurl, and Angry Joe) in honor of the site's second anniversary. The plot concerns the Nostalgia Critic, eager to own his very own country, deciding to organize an assault on the Republic of Molossia a one-acre independent nation within the continental United States and usurp its president, Kevin Baugh. Hilarity, as well as movie references and heavy artillery, ensue.

Supelice Dreadfully Boring
Grimossfer Clever and entertaining enough to recommend even to members of the 1%
Ogosmith Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
Leoni Haney Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.
drosenblum-565-795887 David D Eval is correct. I didn't really like it, but a lot of people did. It is a film that fans of TGWTG and is worth seeing ONCE. It definitely had many good moments, but majority of the jokes fell short. After you watch it, remember the parts that made you laugh, and you will remember the film more fondly. Angry Joe was the best character by far. Nearly every thing he did landed. The concept is funny, but it really just falls flat of its true potential. If you are a fan, then watch it. If you are not, you will truly hate it. Think of it as a Pilgrimage. Personally, I do hope they have a sequel, but make sure it is done better. Angry Joe should be the main star.
leadcastle I've been a big fan of Doug Walker's comedy ever since his original youtube videos were up, and was more than happy to hear that the entire Channel Awesome crew was making a feature film. I sat through every single part and even as a big time fan, I found this film very unfunny, forced, and it relied way too much on fan-service. Many jokes were dated and didn't lead anywhere. It was poorly handled and tried to fit too much without enough entertaining content. Many say that the site has decreased in quality, which is something I wholeheartedly agree with. Granted, good stuff is produced regularly and has good entertainment value, but people new to the site at this point would have trouble understanding most of the jokes and running gags mentioned throughout the film.Don't watch it, it's a waste of time, yadda yadda yadda.
Annawilliams247 Kickassia stars many contributors from the TGWTG website and popular online personalities. Fans or people familiar with these personalities will understand the in jokes and gags used in the film. To people who have never seen any online reviews or who are not familiar with the personalities the film will seem confusing and probably unfunny. The fans of the TGWTG crew will like this film as it delivers well in terms of fan service. I, myself am an avid watcher of web shows and I particularly like TGWTG, I am pleased to say that I enjoyed this film. I feel that a lot of effort was put into this production and it shows the fans that the contributors of the website do care and are appreciative of the support the fans have shown. I understand that it must have been very difficult to gather the contributors and meet up for a certain date ,place and time to film especially because many of them come from different countries (for e.g. Benzaie - France , Film Brain - Britain , Phelous - Canada etc ). A lot of the gags are silly but entertaining and there are references to past reviews and videos which is a nice little nod to the fans. It seems that most of the reviews on here for Kickassia seem to be critiquing Kickassia but treating it as a stand alone film when really it should be seen as an extended fan service type of video more than anything. It's target audience (fans) will love it but others who are unfamiliar with the aforementioned videos and reviews may not enjoy it. Also I think it is ridiculous that some reviewers on here are criticising the production values and quality of cameras etc, its a FREE online film, it is not a Hollywood blockbuster! Anyway I found it funny and entertaining and would certainly watch Kickassia again.
David D Eval Okay, first of all, I'm a huge Nostalgia Critic fan. I kinda like Linkara and the Cinema Snob as well, but to be honest, I actually never watch any other series on TGWTG. And the problem is that this is the same for a lot of people: They like 1 or 2 shows, but never watch the others. That's one of the failing points of Kickassia, but not the biggest. As the title reads, the idea had a lot of potential. The whole idea of a bunch of internet 'celebs' conquering an entire nation (Molossia, which is a true nation by the way, go look it up) was actually good plot material... And that's the other failing point: The plot.I never expected Kickassia to be a movie or anything, just a Special. But when a plot is thrown in, you know it's trying to be a little more. Unfortunately this plot is really poorly executed. At the start it was looking promising, but after the whole "conquering", it starts to get... sluggish and slow. It's hard to describe it in detail, but let's say that if you're not a (true) TGWTG fan, you'll be bored after 10 minutes or so.The acting wasn't something to write back about as well. Although Doug Walker was doing his part pretty well, the rest of the crew wasn't used to this kind of acting, as it clearly shows. This proves the fact that a popular internet personality doesn't have to be a good actor, although most of them are.I won't complain about any technical stuff. After all, this wasn't intended to be a real movie, and there probably wasn't a real budget to work on. It's not that bad on that aspect, but it doesn't come close to an actual movie.I give it a 6 because I'm a fan, and I still got some laughs out of it... Well, mostly when Doug Walker was acting. I'm sorry, but it seemed that he was the only one who really... acted.
