Gurlyndrobb While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Cunninghamolga This is a gorgeous movie made by a gorgeous spirit.
dcarsonhagy Great Gertie's Nightgown! I simply cannot believe the glowing reviews this big old turd got. I was bored to tears in 10 minutes--TOPS. Formulaic, hackneyed, unoriginal, and mind-numbingly awful, KILd-TV, sucks.A radio station, which employs several people who have the acting acumen of a turnip, offers some sort of REALLY CHEAP chiller TV movies, complete with a host that has the personality of a broom. In fact, he is so bad, he makes "Svengoolie" look like an Oscar winner. Anyway, turns out a serial killer is locked inside the station with all these guys taking a break from their real jobs at Jack-N-the-Box and soon the unscary kills start.Cheap? Oh hell yeah. Worth paying to watch? Oh hell NO.
muscalmike Well folks, this time of year looks to bring festivals and awards for the film KILD TV. With Horror Hound and Toronto behind us, the film now moves on to the Legless Corpse, Crimson Screen, Crypticon Seattle and Horror Hotel Film Fests. And, along the way, the film has captured Best Film, Best Actor and Best Effects awards. Make sure to catch the next Horror Hound event -- they're a blast. As for KILD TV, Horror Hound Magazine says: "The setting, a late-night horror movie program on a local television station. The cast and crew are the only ones in the building … or, are they? Anyone who grew up a fan of horror-hosted programming is going to love KILD TV. Dr. Proseco, played by D.C. Douglas (Apocalypse Kiss), is your guide into B-horror movie madness. However, all is not well at the KILD studio. A murder story being investigated by one of the news crew bodes unfortunate fates for the horror host crew. As the dead bodies of crew and other building employees are being discovered, the crew attempts to flee, but are locked in the building. The telephone lines have been cut … and cell phones don't work inside the building. Their only form of communication is the camera and the viewing audience. Yet, attempts to make a cry for help that include broadcasting scenes of the victims all seem like part of the act. Can they convince the viewers to call the police before it's too late? KILD TV is exactly what the great majority of horror fans want in a horror film … interesting characters, a mysterious killer, just the right amount of gore, suspense, and a little sex appeal. And, much like its predecessors in the who-done-it sub genre (Urban Legend, Scream, etc), it's a wild ride that ebbs and flows between comedy and tragedy. It's quirky and fun. Plus, paying homage to the reason why so many of us are horror fans … horror hosts … makes KILD TV unique.Great storytelling, great performances, great production … a must see for horror fans. KILD TV will make its world premiere at HorrorHound Weekend in Cincinnati, OH during the HorrorHound Film Fest. Matthew Baker As a huge fan of horror cinema, I would wager I've watched over 1,000 titles in the genre. As such, I am always starving for originality when it comes to concepts. Many horror films rehash the same plots we've seen countless times, and while some of these are interesting and fun, many of them are not. So, when a title comes along that offers entertainment and originality, you can bet I'm going to sing its praises and do so LOUDLY.Such is the case with KILD TV, a recent offering from director William Collins. With KILD TV, Collins gives horror fans exactly what they want: fun. The film has it all: dark humor, grisly gore, and even an intriguing thriller of a mystery that unfolds nicely. If you're looking for a great way to spend 100 minutes of your life, give this movie a look for sure. This is a lower budget film, but it's hard to tell. The production team does a great job utilizing their budget, and they spend the money where it counts. The result is a great-looking movie that does not disappoint.KILD TV is shot well, however the cinematography is nothing new or noteworthy. The camera tells the story, period. If you are looking for artistry, look elsewhere; this is probably not the film for you.The cast of KILD TV does an excellent job with their roles, and I commend the group for the effort they put forth. I have to single out D.C. Douglas, however, the man behind Milton/Dr. Perseco. Douglas has an amazing resume that runs the gamut from soap operas to video games. He was, therefore, the perfect person to bring Dr. Perseco to life. Douglas does an outstanding job, and I can't wait to see what he does next. The special effects in KILD TV are top-notch, and I tip my hat to the effects team. The film has some superb gore, and a couple of scenes even made me cringe. I loved every minute of it! Of particular note is the newscaster whose head was bashed in with a computer monitor. Carnage litters the desk and the walls, and I had no trouble believing the scenario.KILD TV is a major win for me, and I highly recommend it.
Playball100-1 Kudos to KILD TV for being a Horror/Comedy/Suspense/Thriller plus pulling off all genres in this original Indie! William Collins has Directed an entertaining film vehicle. This is 1st feature written by Channing Whitaker I for one will be watching his future scriptings! The film is set in a TV station with the call letters being KILD-TV. It opens with the ending of the local news segwaying into a Late Night Horror Show Hosted with great delight by a Dr. Perseco(DC Douglas). His new 1st night Producer Adel(Astrea Campbell-Cobb) new to the job/station. Very photogenic supporting cast of actors includes Heather Williams,Grace Johnson,Jared Doreck,Aleeah Rodgers & Dan Braverman.
