Contentar Best movie of this year hands down!
AutCuddly Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,
Isbel A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
cenersys An overall fun story to watch, but the character played by Vivek should have portrayed some "heaviness" in himself, not just the one that Vivek played. But I guess this film was targeted for the young teenagers, which is why most adults don't appreciate it as much as the teenagers. Of course there is Big B, who plays one of the major characters, with lots of jokes and fun, but I guess the story lacks pretty much behind in scripts...some serious conversations should have taken place between the leading characters? Sunil Shetty and Diya Mirza are nice surprises though, and come to think about it, Diya Mirza herself would have suited more for the role of "Diya" than Aishwarya. Besides, I did not like the way Vivek was fooled because the whole fooling process doesn't explain why Aishwarya had to show strong affinity towards Sunil in front of Vivek himself. However, the songs merit credits - keep up!
diana-podlewska i really don't understand where all the lack of enthusiasm is coming from! i absolutely loved the movie! i must say that i think the 1st part is better than the 2nd, but nevertheless it was a very funny movie with lots to offer. it was neither boring nor cliché! and i must say that the major asset to this movie were the great songs. since i am a great fan of bollywood i have seen many but these are very up to date and in my opinion very beneficial to the movie! I think that vivek oberoi was great, he is not only hansom but can dance amazingly, fabulous sense of rhythm. aishwarya beautiful as she is was in my opinion slightly irritating. but overall both main actors did a great job. also the great Amitabh Bachchan who in every movie proves his skill. in my opinion this movie deserves two thumbs up. enjoy !!
jacky4 This (Kyun? Ho Gaya Na)has got to be one of the BEST Bollywood Romantic Comedies ever! The story line is great and it's great to see Aishwarya in a modern role and she look Hot as usual. The acting by all was great and NOT over done. The perfect amount of comedy, romance, emotions and backdrops. The appearances by A. Bachchan and Suniel Shetty is great!!! Music is good too. Aish and Vivek seem to work well together with the perfect type and amount of chemistry needed for this movie. The ending has a great little twist that just makes the movie soar expectations. Ignore what the critics have said against it and judge it for yourself. I definitely recommended for any day of the week!
mamlukman The songs were certainly better than average. Aishwarya looked more gorgeous than usual--which is saying a lot. My only complaint is that the director cuts away from the women too much/too fast! A good example is the "no no" song at the beginning, where Ash is with two other beauties in a very cute sequence--but they keep cutting away! Come on, guys, give them at least 10 seconds on screen at a time!! And in the "making of" part of the DVD no one comments on the Russian theme--were the composers really unaware of that? They compared it to Broadway, but that only makes sense if it's Broadway Moscow. Not that that's bad, but just curious they didn't mention it.No chemistry? The same could be said for a lot of movies--you look at the guy being a jerk and you think, "What could she see in him?" But if you just accept it as a movie, it's OK. At least in this movie Diya gives up and goes home and makes Arjun chase her--so she has some sense! The Amitabh/orphanage plot seems to drop out of nowhere--it's certainly not clear from the opening scene that Diya lives/works at an orphanage, but you can see that later. Another few seconds at the beginning setting that up would have been a big help. But Amitabh was certainly funny, and the whole practical joke story line is necessary to set up the ending.
