Softwing Most undeservingly overhyped movie of all time??
Ogosmith Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
Asad Almond A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
Sienna-Rose Mclaughlin The movie really just wants to entertain people.
MartinHafer I have seen quite a few films sponsored by The National Film Board of Canada that are trying to teach some important lesson. Unfortunately, most of them are pretty boring and preachy. In light of this, I was thrilled when I say this film about proper table etiquette. The film is narrated by a stodgy sounding lady who is very proper and explains lessons about proper behavior during a dinner party. However, at the same time, grotesquely drawn characters act out what she is saying in a very funny manner. Some of their actions are very vulgar but too often they take the message too literally. It's all very tongue-in-cheek and works very well--especially since kids watching this fun cartoon will actually learn not to be total slobs. So, they learn something AND have a good laugh--now that's very clever!
LeRoyMarko Fun short film about etiquette at the diner table. But etiquette is explain in a very special way! Hilarious: the bird in the sandwich (too bad! you can't attract attention even if there's a problem with the food!) Hilarious also is the voice of the lady giving us this lesson of good manners.Out of 100, I gave it 74. That's good for **½ out of ****.Seen at home, in Toronto, on January 3rd, 2003.
