Fluentiama Perfect cast and a good story
Tedfoldol everything you have heard about this movie is true.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
huggibear This is a cute short Lego film where Batman is being too proud to join the justice league because he feels better on his own. I can relate to this because when too many pieces of a team come together, we all want to be chiefs instead of one chief and rest of the team as an Indian of many. Or we'd rather be boss over each other. This place will never stop the power struggle over each other and tend to our own future businesses in the present moment. One team, one future for me. To live and to let all others who aren't choosing life on purpose every day, to die of their own free will/choice. Movies prove a lot of points and if we can find one common mission or goal between us, we'd all be living in our own freedom of choice (which is free will). In the end, does Batman chose to stay on his own or does he join the justice league? You'll have to see for yourself. Will you be on your own, or part of a larger team, working together for the common good of each other? Just like another reviewer says that Batman is typically better off alone because of the inconsistencies and the fact that he doesn't really gel all that well with the DC Universe. I am a batman in many way because I'm better off alone and left to my own imaginations of what my future might entail. Be the boss of your own imaginations. It might be the only way to deal with this kind of place.
Terryfan What a interesting short featuring the DC Comics Heroes and Villains in the form of Lego.Yes Lego DC Comics: Batman Be-Leaguered features Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, The Flash and Aquaman for the villains we get Man-Bat,The Joker, Lex Luthor, Penguin, Black Manta and Captain Cold Taking into account that Lego movies and video games are meant to target an younger crowd I had to accept the humor and the idea of Lego blocks and such for this short film. Now the humor in this film has it ups and downs there were some jokes that gave good laughs some just make you go okay The animation in the film is pretty good and the Lego blocks make for some interesting ideas.I enjoy the idea behind this short film The voice acting is pretty entertaining with the cast being Dee Bradley Baker,Troy Baker,John DiMaggio,Grey Griffin,Tom Kenny,Nolan North,Khary Payton,James Arnold Taylor,Kevin Michael Richardson they make some funny and good voice work.Overall this was a good short and if you're a DC or Lego fan it would be a winner for you however just keep in mind some of the humor won't make sense but the film should be fun to watchI give Lego DC Comics:Batman Be-Leaguered an 7 out of 10
Horst in Translation ([email protected]) This is a 23-minute animated short film from last year and like so many it features all kinds of superheroes. The Lego animation is something not everybody will appreciate too much including me, but I thought the humor and the characters made it worth a watch nonetheless. And somehow the humor was on par with the animation style. It just fit in my opinion. All the voice actors in this one are fairly experienced, have worked in film for decades some of them, and director Morales and writer Krieg are also not new to the genre at all. Experience shows and it's a successful job by everybody involved. Superman approaches Batman to get him to join the Justice League, but Batman is skeptical and decides to keep working on his own. It takes the involvement of Bat-Mite (a good guy? bad guy? stalking fan?), a character I am not familiar with to change Batman's mind. The story is sometimes fairly absurd and does not make really sense, but if you decide to watch it for the superhero action and not look for any depth in here, you may very well enjoy it. Decent watch and I recommend it.
Shawn Watson At half the length this TV special manages to be better than the Bizarro movie. Opening in Gotham City we find Batman tackling the Penguin and the Joker in a jewel heist when Supes shows up and offers him a part in the new Justice League. Batman refuses and somehow Supes is teleported away by a mysterious entity. While investigating with the rest of the League they too disappear one at a time until Batman confronts the real villain. The locations and models featured are fun, but I do believe that Batman has always worked better as a loner and doesn't gel with the rest of the shared DC universe due to the inconsistent tones. Composer Tim Kelly could have made this felt a bit more cohesive by using the familiar themes but once again he just gives us a cartoon score.Definitely worth watching, if unremarkable.
