The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

Mac and Devin go to highschool is a perfect representation of life in highschool. You have your nerds, you have your popular kids. But in the end, they all get brought together with that sticky green plant known as Marijuana. Weed brings everyone together.

I love this movie and I love how the host of the movie was a talking joint. I love how Snoop Dogg really tried to pretend he was a high school student. That alone had me in tears because Snoop Dogg is old as hell. I loved seeing Wiz in this movie being the nerd that gets corrupted. I had a feeling that Snoop Dogg and Wiz were actually smoking weed in this movie. I personally got tired of the religious references, but I found it funny as well. I love all the tracks in this movie. I love how the handicap kid was always smoking weed and ended up having sex with a cheerleader in his school. I love how Mac was giving every person weed that he met. I loved seeing Mike Epps in this movie as well. It was funny how they smoked weed together and were learning algebra and chemistry like as if they actually study in real life. I also love the tattoo life was being shown some love as well! Seeing Wiz and Snoop go get some ladies was even funnier. I feel like Wiz Khalifa actually ended up getting laid on the movie. When Snoop and Wiz got arrested I thought it was funny to see their little argument hahaha for the problem in the story. It was hilarious seeing the assistant principal fall in love with the substitute teacher. I love the positive speech about weed at the end of this movie as well.

I was very disappointed with this movie. With the great cast , it had potential to be an excellent movie. 50% of the movie was about weed and the other 50% was comedy. The comedy bit was alright, although it was not all funny. It was generally a stoner film. If you weren't getting high while watching it, its pretty boring . The comedy is also targeted for a small audience.Unless your prepared to watch an hour of Snoop dogg an Wiz Khalifa pretending to get high ( and probably getting high ) , don't watch this movie unless you are high.S T O N E RF I L M

Being a fan of the Mac and Devin Album I found the movie to be entertaining. Whilst I found many of the reviews on this site to be rather misinformed or misleading. First off Wiz's acting wasn't up to par because let's face it he's a rapper not an actor, contrary to popular belief not all entertainers can make that transition into a different medium. Considering the circumstances, his first time on screen, I think Wiz did great and if that were something he would want to continue to do it would take work and time. While some of the reviewers found Snoop's acting a little dry I would have to disagree. But with awards and even more nominations Snoop has already proved himself to be a successful actor. Check the facts, it's not up for debate.I can't stand the comparisons to "How High" or as one reviewer even went as far as"Superbad". As far as low budget films go it was pretty good. The "movie" was an hour long, more like a TV special if you ask me, so any comparisons to a higher budgeted feature film just seems unfair. If you didn't enjoy the film because of their promotion of weed culture Im sorry to say its Wiz and Snoop. What did you expect? I found some of the jokes to be corny, predicable, or unfunny while I found myself dying from laughter at times. I could have honestly done without Andy Milonakis character. To those of you that didn't enjoy the musical breaks in-between scenes, I regret to inform you that the movie was adapted from the concept of a collab album, not the other way around. You would really have to be a fan of the music and the album to truly enjoy the film. The film wasn't meant to sell an album that was released almost a year ago, nor was it meant to be an extended music video to songs they already have videos for. It was made to go that extra mile and give a little extra to the fans and they succeeded in that delivery.
