This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

This is certainly the stand up performance that propelled Michael McIntyre to the levels he is at today. I recently watched this for the 3rd or 4th time and found it as entertaining as ever! McIntyre has an approach which is very common within the stand up community; he tells us stories and jokes which we can easily relate to. Many times through the show you will find yourself laughing with comments like 'that's so true' and 'that happens all the time' etc, etc.Since his first stand up he has gone on to do 2 more arena tours but in my opinion this one is his very best. It has many memorable one liners and subjects such as the man draw, names for being drunk, naming his sons and many many more.I honestly cannot recommend this show enough, 6 years on it is still as funny. Go and watch it! 10/10

If they redid 100 Greatest Stand-Ups, I am sure the new and rising star would be in at least the top 20. I saw Michael McIntyre like many people on panel/comedy shows, such as Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You, Thank God You're Here, The Law of the Playground and 8 Out of 10 Cats, and then doing stand-up on Live at the Apollo, We Are Most Amused and The Royal Variety Performance (twice). So now he gets his own stand-up show at the Hammersmith Apollo, and shows the audience his unique style of comedy, using double-meanings, one-liners, some physical and just making you think of some of the stuff you really do, so you are laughing at yourself also. McIntyre is a great new comedy talent, and always look forward to seeing him. Very good!
