Prashast Singh MIRUTHAN happens to be the first Indian zombie action movie in the Tamil language. I watched in Hindi last night since I couldn't find the Tamil version with subtitles. By the end, I was quite enthralled and entertained: and that's what the film intended to do!It's a film full of action, and every single action sequence is excellent. Jayam Ravi is highly impressive in the role of Karthik, and emotes very well throughout the film. Kaali Venkat as his sidekick provides the needed comic relief. Lakshmi Menon also impresses with her decent performance. Rest of the cast too does an impressive.Kudos to the director Shakti Soundar Rajan for making a zombie-themed action movie which is out and out fun to watch.It's not a very long film, but the editing could've been a bit better in the beginning, as one song sequence slows the pace and appears to be a speed breaker. The music is just fine, while it's the background score which builds the required tension and provides a lot of thrill.MIRUTHAN is a different sort of film. While this genre is relatively new for the Indian audiences, it has been executed in a totally Indian style and needs to be encouraged, so that we can see more movies like this in the future.

rvicky1996 From the very first review on net was so negative and they started comparing it with Hollywood movies and there stands the movie it was never less to any billion dollar movies out there from Hollywood ,and poor critics losing there's people following by giving false reviews even in national media like The Hindu gave false review for such great movie , I cannot describe any more about the movie these are movies which come once in the blue moon ,get the full cinematic experience Great Movie , Superb Visual ,Setting New standard for Indian Cinema, Jeyam Ravi is rising new heights, with his acting great makeup for zombies not to horrifying which make you see the movie without any irritation Photography, Stunts and VFX get Synced best Pulse Rising BGM By Imman but BGM gets repeat in Loop which make Exhausted which Overlaped by best Scenes

karthick PNKV Miruthan my perspective: First of all this movie is not World war Z's clone! Next ,This movie does have some Zombie rules/logic that Western movies do possess!Story is simple, just go n watch it in theaters 😜 But the movie ends with a hint at Miruthan sequel ...So What worked?-Larger than life effort in making this movie suitable for K-Town audience -Brilliant works in CGI to emulate Zombies -Laudable performance from Protagonist ,Jayam Ravi -D.Imman matches the pulse of audiences, by working on the BGM,Songs to match the theme of this flick -Crisp Running Time of 1hr 48mins make it one of the shortest film in recent times (The running time only copied from Hollywood-this line dedicated sarcastic World movie lovers)-Comic one liners does evoke laughter in serious scenes makes it Both Plus n minus!!So What didn't go in this movie's way ?Logics are impossible to believe(mostly all Zombie movies are included for this con)-There are several Stereotypes like Pregnant lady waiting in Auto when a minister comes in that way and someone helps her to when he arrives to get sacked, more like that present!(Tamil movie's common stereotypes)-Lakshmi menon(The lady of interest of Protagonist) does the job most of the time, but she looks unrealistic all the time. Final words: Apart from several cons , it's still a high five ZOMBIE TAMIL action movie!
