The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.

I watched this movie for the first time as an adult recently, and I thought it was a nice bit of fun from start to finish. It tells the story of a giant invisible rabbit who reveals himself one day to a little girl, and the trouble it causes when no one believes her stories about having seen him. The rabbit has very proper British mannerisms, yet does whimsical things like kicking people from behind when they are bending over. There were some funny details, like the hollow tree log that served as his post office, and his doorbell hanging in the middle of the woods (he lived at Rhododendron Manor). It might not be easy for young children to understand, but it is harmless fun.

My mom recorded it off of TV a long time ago onto VHS. I am not 100% sure of the condition of the recording, but I believe that it's still watchable. I would have to contact her to see if she still has it. But I am pretty sure she does. I used to watch this as a kid too. I'm sorry to say that I don't remember a whole lot about it. Except for the rather large rabbit that kinda looked like he belonged in Alice in Wonderland. If I can get it, I know someone that can transfer it to DVD, but I am not sure that it would be R2. If you are interested, please feel free to contact me. I'm not sure what I would need to do, but I am sure that we can find a way.

I am so surprised to find so many comments about this film, i though i was the only person in the world who loved this film so much when i was little! It used to be aired really early Christmas morning and i would love anyone to contact me if they know where to obtain a copy of this film or if they can sell me one! I have a little sister who has never seen this and would love my children in the future also to be able to watch it. My memories of the film are quite sketchy, but i remember thinking it was great and my mum and dad have never forgotten the film or how much my brother and i loved it. Please contact me if you have any info on the whereabouts of this film!
