Really Surprised!

A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.

I don't remember much of this movie except that the lead actress is gorgeous and it has some notable faces that became future stars. The story is basic: A teen dies and comes back as a zombie expect not the menacing killing kind, but the lovelorn, afraid one. There's not much that I recollect and the film was barely noticed all these years. It however stars Mathew Mcchounghey, Renee Zellwegger, Mathew Fox and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

After being in relationship with Wilson for seven years,he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to someone online and she suggested that I should contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that don't believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I meant a spell caster called Dr Zuma zuk and I email him, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened, that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him, that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem and who is different from all the fake ones out there. Anybody could need the help of the spell caster, his email:
[email protected] or call him +2349055637784 you can email him if you need his assistance in your relationship or anything. CONTACT HIM NOW FOR SOLUTION TO ALL YOUR PROBLEMS

The tone of the movie was reminiscent of those campy 80s black comedy horror movies that often didn't take themselves too seriously like Night of the Creeps, Return of the Living Dead or Evil Dead? and also more recent quirky semi-ironic shows like iZombie while the humor itself was more deadpan and sitcom-ish than those (think darkly humorous sitcoms like Married with Children). I wouldn't exactly say this is a masterpiece you would recommend your friend, unless they were a weirdo who is into this sort of humor (I am probably that weirdo) because I was squirming in my seat from boredom especially in the first third of the movie but once you get past the awkward twenty minutes or so into the movie where you are probably thinking "A high school male student most likely played by an early Tom Hanks-emulating middle-aged actor creepily trying to 'get the girl' since he was a little boy? I already hate this guy! Wow, I wish he were dead- oh." it has its moments. The fact that most characters were completely unfazed by the fact Johnny was dead and took it as if he just grew another zit on the face was just hilarious. The strongest point of the movie was however a satirical depiction of "angry villagers" (most of them white trash rednecks) wanting to burn Johnny "alive" because he was undead and seen with a human female which if you change the subject, say, instead of undead he was black or a member of the LGBT community it adds another layer of meaning to it. Again, don't expect --insert the most critically acclaimed movie here-- and 85 minutes of your time won't be wasted."Would you eat someone just to be few more hours with the person you love? No? I thought so!" Obviously paraphrasing here the part where a sheriff scolds the angry mob but God, was I not laughing out loud at this.

Okay, I first saw this movie when I was around 8 or 9. My mom showed it
to me (she kind of has a twisted humor.. Haha...) Anyways, I had always
remembered it as being funny. That was about 5 or 6 years ago, so I
barely remembered anything about the movie. Recently though, I had been
thinking about it. I was DYING to see it, and since they had it like,
nowhere, I decided to order it off of Amazon.I watched it again about a few weeks ago when I got the DVD, and it was
as great a movie as I remembered it! It's a hilarious movie! (Well to
me anyways) A lot of people don't like it because of the towns reaction
to Johnny being back from the dead, and how normal it seems to them.
But thats whats FUNNY about it. It's the ridiculousness of it all that
I love. Plus, it has some of the best one-liners of all time! So,
overall, this movie is fantastic! If your looking for an Oscar-worthy
performance, don't watch this movie. The director knew he wasn't going
to be getting awards for it, so he had a bit of fun with it. That's
what I love. So watch it! You won't be disappointed.
