ShangLuda Admirable film.
Justin Easton There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
Yash Wade Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
willnjamie I watched this film knowing what to expect. Indie budget, with a faith based message. That's what I got. I watched this film in it's entirety and I enjoyed it, for what it was. Being a southern Christian, I felt like I knew the story of each character, and felt I could relate. Not a nail biter, not a big budget Hollywood blockbuster, but what it was I enjoyed. The cast seemed to be members of the church that produced this, and for mostly non actors I thought they did a great job. If you're not a "big budget, Hollywood, famous actor-only movie watcher, you might not feel like you wasted an hour and a half, and it might help....just saying.
walkertechie This has to be the worst piece of crap ever to be put to film. Whoever gave this 4 1/2 stars must be with the film. Horrible acting, vomit inducing dialog, poor plot, crazy music and much more. Think of all the ways someone can screw up a movie and you come away with this. The editing, camera angles & special fx are amateurish. Not sure if a Christian group put this together. I so they should burn in hell with this turd. Save yourself 80 minutes And stay away from this garbage. Now I love a good apocalypse movie and give non-Hollywood productions a chance. I enjoy the human drama vs Michael Bay type movies. But this thing was a true let down. None of the characters are likable or even believable. This movie starts with a nuke being detonated in New Year. But the reactions to the event are just not believable at all. The teenage girl lead was annoying as was most of the cast. How this got to distribution is beyond me.
jclark147 This is a very thought provoking movie, and very well done. It challenges the viewer to dig deep inside of themselves to think about what they would do if everything that you believe in is on the line. The acting is good, and is a strong focus compared to a lot of movies that put too many special effects into a story that takes away from the acting. the characters are believable, and the story lines are intriguing. I would recommend this film to Bible study and discussion groups. The questions would be great as to where you would stand in the midst of a major crisis. Do you believe in God? Why does he allow suffering? Why do bad things happen to good people? Can I trust Him if everything around me says I shouldn't? All of these issues are addressed, and leaves you with hope that there is a way out. Good job for a group of independent filmmakers.
