Some things I liked some I did not.

Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.

"Naked Zombie Girl" is a postapocalyptic live action short film from 2014 that was written and directed by Rickey Bird Jr. and the man also plays a supporting character in here. As the title suggests, this is a movie about a female character played by Meghan Chadeayne and she is constantly stuck in small places surrounded by walls or metal and also surrounded by bloodlusty zombies who may have worse things on their minds than most male audience members will when seeing this one. Me not included as the lead actress doesn't do too much for me despite my preference in dark-haired women. The title oh yeah, could it be any more baity? I doubt it. I personally would say that this one is really only worth seeing for the very biggest zombie film fans. The biggest weakness is the story I guess, the plot, as in areas like effects, make-up and action, the film is fairly decent. But to me the plot stands above everything else really and as a consequence, it is a negative deal-breaker unfortunately. So yeah, it may be best to skip it, don't be tricked by the awards attention here into thinking this is a good film. It is not, even if admittedly it is also not a failure. For genre lovers only.

...and then to the scrap heap, this adolescent faux-homage to grindhouse film-making offers nothing in the way of style or substance. The girl is reasonably attractive, though not much of an actor, and yes she gets naked (in thoroughly nonsensical fashion), but the presentation is so purposefully coy that she may as well have stayed in bra and panties, had she worn any in the first place; this vastly overlong gore effects showcase relies on splatter rather than titillation to clumsily earn attention. "Naked Zombie Girl" fails on virtually every level of worthwhile cinema. No script or even story to speak of, nor direction, learners-permit cinematography, poor sound and generally poor lighting---all probable attempts at the aforementioned grindhouse presentation---make "Naked Zombie Girl" a tedious watch for all but the most forgiving of zombie fans. Strictly in-one-eye-and-out-the-other viewing. Caught it no-thanks to Screamfest on YouTube, and grimly regret being suckered by the come-on title. You'll need to endure "Zombie Strippers" again to cleanse your exploitation palate. Not recommended.

You know what you're getting into here. It's gory, it's campy, it's balls to the wall and it's perfect. It's very pulpy and very graphic. I definitely recommend it based on the care the filmmakers obviously took and the love for the genre that they obviously have. Take a peek! You'll be glad you did.

This is one of the best shorts I've ever seen. From the title alone, you think this is going to be a piece of boobs and blood schlock, but it is everything but.Meghan Chadeayne is an absolute goddess. I mean seriously, she is one of the most beautiful women on the planet. Not only that but she's a great actress. She could have easily played a brain dead naked chick running from zombies. Instead, her scenes are so intense you almost forget she's naked. That is not an easy feat with someone who looks like Meghan Chadeayne. There has been talk this might be a full length feature. If that happens, I hope to see Meghan retain the lead role. Either way, this short is definitely worth checking out.
