Ameriatch One of the best films i have seen
ClassyWas Excellent, smart action film.
Voxitype Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Ava-Grace Willis Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Páiric O'Corráin Navy Seals vs. Zombies: The Vice-President of the US is on a visit to Baton Rouge . when he is trapped by a Zombie Outbreak. A Navy Seal team is tasked with rescuing him. Communications with the city are down and the situation is confused. When the team locate the VP it is obvious to them that they are in the middle of something strange. Back at the SEAL HQ a CIA agent reveals that a virus which "weaponises" people is responsible. A team of scientists in Baton Rouge may hold the key to a cure and must also be extracted. Not at all the hackneyed film I was expecting. A proper script with plot development, competent acting, good editing and direction. 7/10.
ladmo-32716 I love these low-budget flicks; bad special effects and acting that is all over the map. I would have scored this one higher if it weren't for the pretty obvious shots of people (not in the movie) shopping and driving around in the background. I know it's a horror/sci-fi flick, but those scenes--and there are many--are quite jarring. If you can discount those, then sit back, turn off your brain, and enjoy.
Baton Rouge Resident I am actually a fan of bad movies like this. But why would you call a movie the Navy Seals the battle for New Orleans (title on Netflix), when it is all in Baton Rouge. I see this stupidity in many movies and TV shows. The South is portrayed are all rural, or small towns, or low intelligence, etc. This is like calling a movie the Battle for San Francisco and setting it in Los Angeles. Of course the oh so smart folks who aren't afflicted with the Southern birthright would notice that immediately. The acting was not completely terrible, and the storyline was par for the course for low budget "disaster" movies. At least you did use the actual old capitol building in Baton Rouge.
dezenzio The premise of this movie is actually pretty good, but it suffers from frequent bad scripting and bad acting. Don't get me wrong, some of the acting is great like the writers and actors were actually on the same page, but then it's like they walked away and the amateurs took over. The zombies were OK, they too suffered from some that were really good at it and some that just showed up from a LSU football game the night before. The best part is the combat sequences that looked really good but it wasn't enough of it. If you have nothing else to do, I mean nothing else, then watch it once. I mean really once.
