This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.

A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

Gory tale of Bigfoot, this made the infamous Video Nasties list here in Britain in the mid 1980's. To date it has only since been released on disc heavily cut but I'm certain that in these more enlightened times it would now be passed by the BBFC uncut. This film is a guilty pleasure of mine. Yes, the acting is as wooden as the trees in the forest, the dialogue is cringe worthy & the effects certainly aren't very special (though plentiful). Bigfoot himself is obviously a big man dressed up in a hairy costume. But what I like is that the many gory deaths are quite imaginative (especially the poor biker who stops to take a pee, only to be deprived of his manhood - ouch!), it's fast paced, throws in some sex and black magic, has an eerie soundtrack & is just good fun. Certainly one of the more enjoyable "Nasties"

first of all this movie is really cheaply made. that being true, i have to say that they really made an impressive movie with said lack of funds. it is a gruesome movie exploring the bigfoot myth. i rented this movie so many times when i was a kid. it definitely made a big impression on me more then but i think i would've liked it as an adult if i hadn't seen it then. despite the low production it still left me with that unsettling feeling that we horror fans like to experience again and again. i think you can watch this on youtube. so yeah, check it out. check it out right meow! yeah, yeah, do it. bigfoot is one crazy mahfah. crazy mean and crazy horny

This 1980 horror film stars Michael Cutt, Melanie Graham and Shane Dixon. Cutt plays college professor, Bill Nugent who has just survived a terrible ordeal. He tells his story to doctors about a Bigfoot (Dixon) that attacked him and his students in the wilderness. He also reveals there was a woman, Wanda McGinty (Graham) who was raped by the monster and had it's baby that her father killed after. This is like a bad student film about Bigfoot that I only give points for it's nice surroundings and bloody effects. The monster isn't scary, there's lousy acting and the film should've had a different title. I only recommend this if you're into cheesy horror or creature features.

I'm not even sure whether I like this movie or not. It's just flat out bizarre. It's also extremely disturbing in several parts.First of all, the movie was made in 1980, but it looks like a mid- 1970's film. There are a lot of landscape shots with 1970's-style Chicago-esque/smooth jazz/rock music playing in the background. Everyone is wearing flannel shirts for some reason. The dialog is really boring and drawn out.But beyond all that, Bigfoot is definitely the star of the show and allows the film to entice you to finish the movie. The gore and kills are really good for the time. There's some really disturbing scenes which went a little too far though. Some guy's dick gets ripped off and you actually SEE it... In another scene "Wanda" is on her porch getting whipped by her father for some stupid reason. Then at one point during Wanda's flashback, the movie gets VERY preachy. There's a shot in Wanda's bedroom where it just shows a bunch of pictures of Jesus Christ, the cross and Holy Mary, with like church music playing in the background. O.o For some reason, this part of the movie feels like you're no longer in the year 1980, but more like the late 1800's- early 1900's...Then Bigfoot comes and rapes Wanda! Why? I don't know... Her father doesn't do anything, he's just like "You deserve it!" O.OThen later, Wanda gives birth to a log of moving feces....... Literally... That's what it looked like. =w=Anyway, I won't tell the rest of what happens... It's really strange... Like I said, I don't know whether I like it or not. I guess it's passable for the super low budget it likely had. It was able to keep me watching it till the end... o-o
