Investigators search for soldiers' missing bodies, and hear unbelievable rumors about zombies. Dismissing those rumors they set out to investigate. After two men are found dead, CIA special-agent Nick Monroe is sent to flush out what are suspected to be deserters from the old U.S. Army Chemical Corps unit. Not to be confused with the 1980 Italian film of the same name (in USA).

Titreenp SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?
ReaderKenka Let's be realistic.
Sarita Rafferty There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Cody One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Barry Trout I believe much ill words have been spoken of this film but it is not that bad. Jamie Gillis is a believable actor with a unique, low-key style. He is cast well in this I think as the gum shoe investigating zombie crimes. It picks up the debate about zombies well too; do they exist or not? And also addresses key questions about modern (well, 1980's) views of the American role in World War II.The zombie scenes are shot quite well considering the budget and Dr Clarence Trout (no relation!) is the perfect villain.I'm not sure if I understood the story line about the foam however? What does Jamie learn from pretending to be a zombie and who discovered the power of foam? A good watch nonetheless. Has Jamie Gillis been in any other good films?
kita117 Well, I guess I am the second person to say this movie is kind of good. This movie gets boring a lot. I think the advantage of this movie is the gore. The gore was great. The zombies moved really slow unlike other zombies I have seen in other zombie movies. The most bad part about the movie is that it is dark at times and you can't see what is going on. I give this movie 2.5 stars out of 5 stars (average).
aaronzombie The zombies in this film sure don't act like normal zombies. They don't come out of their tombs and eat people. They are guys who have been kept alive by a chemical since they fought in W.W.II(?).!!!SOME SPOILERS!!! A group of people spend the night in a tent near an area where parts of W.W. II were fought. Suddenly dead soldiers terrorize them. We soon discover that they are immortal beings who have been exposed to a gas that keeps them alive. Extremely boring, terrible story, and acting, but o.k. make-up effects on the corpses. *1/2 out of *****. Note: The film claims to be a sequel to Bruno Mattei's "Night of the Zombies" because in the opening credits it says "Night of the Zombies II," but it's not.
FATLOSER The first time I saw this picture was during the era of "Elvira: Mistress of the Dark's Movies" in the early eighties.(around the age of 13 or so) It really seemed a lot more interesting and suspenseful at the time but I guess THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME COMMERCIAL BREAKS ACTUALLY ENHANCED THE VIEWING OF A FEATURE FILM ON TV!!!! After buying the movie for a few bucks in a drug store a couple years back I have to say that this film has a lot going AGAINST IT. Bad European actors, bad special effects, and Jamie Gillis. (Boy, I don't know how this guy NEVER became the next Bruce Willis!)This movie started with a great idea but never developed anything cohesive out of it. If you're really bored or drunk or just want to watch a bad piece of cinema check this one out, if you want a good scary German zombie flick check out "Schocktroops".
