Clever and entertaining enough to recommend even to members of the 1%

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Sexist, racist, and vulgar. I cannot think of anything good to say about this film. If you find humor here, you ought to reflect about your world view

Critics are just messed up now. How do Sausage Party get an 82% on RT and this gets 9% on RT? Sausage Party is full of dirty humor but atleast Norbit has more laughs.Go see this film. You won't regret it.

Norbit (2007): Dir: Brian Robbins / Cast: Eddie Murphy, Thandie Newton, Eddie Griffin, Cuba Gooding Jr.Terry Crews: Eddie Murphy proved comic brilliance in The Nutty Professor playing multiple roles. What Norbit proves is that lightning doesn't necessarily strike twice. Murphy plays Norbit who was abandoned at a Chinese orphanage where he grows up to be the target of bullying. Saved one day by the massive Rasputa he is forced into marriage. Director Brian Robbins improves yet story is still simplistic formula with an ending lacking real feeling. Robbins is a director whose career is subdued with a long list of junk such as Good Burger, Ready to Rumble and Hardball. Eddie Murphy plays the humble Norbit as well as his overweight dominating wife and neither role evokes feeling. Thandie Newton is flat as a childhood love. The role is standard fare making it a complete waste of her time and talent. Eddie Griffin plays a pimp and Cuba Gooding Jr. plays Newton's scheming fiancée. Terry Crews is cast as Rasputa's older brother and that cannot be any less than embarrassing for his resume. There is a theme regarding facing adversaries but it is buried underneath Murphy's makeup job. This film is a failure on all accounts and if the script had as much time spent on it as Rasputa's humongous bulk then perhaps Norbit might have reason to smile. Score: 4 / 10

This is my absolute favorite movie! Anyone who doesn't like this movie basically doesn't know comedy! I Laugh from the beginning to the end! I think this is Eddie Murphy's best ever! I was at least 8 or 9 when I first saw this movie and I absolutely loved it! The movie might be a little old now but it still has enough comedy to make me laugh for a lifetime! I like the part where Rasputia was looking for Norbit and she went into the Italian Restaurant and she said "where's Norbit?" And the Italian said "I don't know!" And then Rasputia said "we'll then who's been eating the turkey a$$?!" This movie might be rated PG-13 but I was 7 when I saw this and I understood everything and I laugh the whole time I never got bored and I never got tired as a matter of fact I watched it 3 times in a row and it was really late when we finished the movie the first time so you can tell the movie is amazing and this is being reviewed by a teen saying this!
