One of the best films i have seen

The movie runs out of plot and jokes well before the end of a two-hour running time, long for a light comedy.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

A somewhat irreverent interpretation of Heaven and the goings-on within the Holy Family. God who tends to get up late because of sleepless nights is disturbed that the world is in turmoil despite the fact he sent Jesus down to earth to fix things up. God gets a great idea of producing a second son and having another go but Gabriel can't find a virgin who is willing to make herself available. And there's also the problem of the Holy Trinity. Is it to become the Holy Quartet? It's a highly original satirical comedy with God and Jesus devoid of all majesty. Jesus addresses God as "Dad" and God refers to him as "the kid". I liked the scene where the first man from the Apocalypse arrives and is questioned by St. Peter. Played by Luis Ciges the first arrival is disappointed in the appearance of Heaven, not at all as he expected it. Even the trumpets are out of tune. Luis Ciges is a delight to watch as the little man in search of a vermouth and gin. The dialogue in the first half of the film is quite brilliant, but I think the scriptwriter began to run out of ideas towards the end. The closing scene falls rather flat, but then what can you expect? Most of the inhabitants of Heaven have decided to return to earth and accept things as they are.
