This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

The movie really just wants to entertain people.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

This is a very moving film about how hard life can be, about being at the wrong place at the wrong time and a lost child- respectively boyhood. Very obvious is the missing love in each of the lives of the protagonists. Once again you realize how close emotional coldness, low self-love, self-hatred and hardship in live are. It is very interesting, that although it is quite well known what "faults" in education, no matter if you are wealthy or poor lead to isolated and depressed children, there will always be parents who are not able to change. Which again leads us to the childhood of those, who themselves suffered from low self-love and self esteem. A very educational movie for school classes, i guess.
