Laikals The greatest movie ever made..!
Peereddi I was totally surprised at how great this film. You could feel your paranoia rise as the film went on and as you gradually learned the details of the real situation.
AnhartLinkin This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.
Sorpse this definitely wasn't a bad movie but it wasn't anything new either. Pretty basic story line but what makes it slightly different than other movies with similar plots is that this one follows a club dj in the 90s who has a troubled past and present. The antagonist seemed like a pretty average scum bag and some of the decisions our main character makes are a bit questionable but i guess thats just to type of guy he is, which kind of makes it frustrating. The female character is however undeniably sexy and we get to see all of her which is a bonus. Besides the stuff about dj's and the cool shots of the streets in the 90s its a basic story about a guy who owes money and has to find a way to get it. I wouldn't say this is a total waste but for me it wasn't gangster enough to be a good gangster movie, and didn't have enough action to be a good action movie. Had some decent dj stuff and an alright roll from ll cool j but im sure it will be forgettable. Watch Juice for a better version of this kind of movie.
Evolution-X This was a movie I have been curious about for a while before watching it. I had seen previews for it on cable. My guess this was a straight-to-video release, because during 1995, I didn't see any trailers for this movie. In fact, I knew nothing about this movie until I saw trailers for it on cable. Anyway, I'm gonna get straight to the point now. LL Cool J plays this club DJ in this movie, who was a former drug addict, who is forced to work for an undercover cop to get info on a drug pusher. He gets involved with the pusher's girlfriend along the way, because she wants revenge on the pusher because of what he did to her sister. But during the course of the movie, there are some plot twists going along, you never know who was playing who. Some of the most unexpected happens. I thought this movie was good. I can't believe I don't see comments made about this movie. I wouldn't say it's the best low budget movie I've ever seen, but it's rather enjoyable. Watch this movie.
