longjohnslass I'm a very easy person to scare with this sort of thing, and I like to give movies as much credit as possible, even when they're not great. It's not horrible, but I was disappointed. It takes next to nothing to make me jump, but this didn't make me jump even once I'm sad to say. The acting was alright, and the different setting was a nice change of pace. But I feel like this should have been its own thing and not a sequel. There was little to no suspense build-up in my opinion (not to say they didn't try, but I don't think they pulled it off) so there wasn't much feeling of threat. *shrug* I don't know, I don't pretend to be any kind of expert critic of anything, but I'd say this was good for background at best :(

schalazeal-00917 It's a good horror movie.. Better than some horror movies that I've watched. Some parts were amazingly scary and great. Other parts are okay. I find myself stopping and touching my face especially in the latter. I found the first 20 like minutes to be scarier at first but then it caught up in the middle and I didn't find the scares overexaggerated like The Haunting in Connecticut which I just watched yesterday... that was HORRIBLE and the plot build up was too sudden and random!! We didn't even know why things were happening in that movie anymore! It's like it tried to incorporate a lot of themes or concepts but failed! I feel like this kind of horror film is one of the scariest because it's captures more the audience because of the more realistic feel of the actor's camera.. although sometimes it feels ridiculous to be holding a camera in most of the situations in this movie.. but it's film making and entertainment! >_< *written yesterday, 2015-12-04

Thomas Kirchgessner When I watched this movie over Thanksgiving day break from school, I didn't particularly care for the whole story-line of the entire movie. And to be precise, I don't really particularly care for the whole story-line of the entire "Paranormal Activity" movie series.During this movie, I noticed a few minor and major stupid decisions. Like for one, why would someone want to go into someone else's apartment after their death? I mean, seriously? That's just a sign of disrespect in my eyes on their part.When Jesse's friends (Hector and Marisol) go to the source of this demonic mayhem and try to unravel the truth of their friend, Jesse, they bring Arturo and his "gang member," Santo as protection while they investigate the house looking for their friend.

jacobjohntaylor1 This not scary. By the time it get any where there are about 10 minutes left. Where they trying to be scary? Or where they trying be boring. This as an awful story line. The acting is awful. The ending is awful. It is not scary at all. The is the fifth Paranormal Activity movie. It is very boring. If you are scared this movie then you are to easy to scary. Some demons posses people and kill stupid teenagers. Big deal. This is better then the first four Paranormal Activity movies. That is only because the first four Paranormal are very stink pooh. And this is still very stinky to. Do not wast your time. And do not wast your money. Do not see this movie.
