Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

This is kids clay animation... but more explosive and just think they try to kill each other just for a look at a shell they shoot them they put them through concentrated sulfuric acid and they saw them in half and they try to blow each other up with a cannon. I was laughing I never laughed this hard since I first watched Kevin Smith. The narrator is supposed to be out of her mind hilarious when they try to kill each other she then says a comment about them having fun the funniest part. this is definitely dumb comedy at it's finest it's not over-the-top ridiculous like The Mighty Boosh. Peter Peake thought this up all by himself this 5 minutes that you'll never want to miss this is quite easily the best short ever made this is unmissable.EDIT: I Just Found Out Peter Peake Made Other Shorts...I Took A Look At Them But This Is The Best & The Longest.

PIB AND POG initially appears to be a cute children's animated short. Two cute characters appear on screen and look like Claymation characters, but I assume they were actually made on a computer. Then, a Mary Poppins-like voice begins narrating--introducing the characters and talking as if the two are the best of friends and this is a show for pre-schoolers. However, as the lady talks in a hideously upbeat manner, the characters beat up each other. As the film continues, the lady STILL talks as if there is nothing wrong--and the characters are now acting as violent as Itchy and Scratchy!! While this could have been a sick little cartoon due to its violence, it was very clever and funny because of the insipid narrator--plus, because the characters are so cartoon-like, the horrible violence isn't realistic and makes you laugh.Extremely well animated and clever--this is a wonderful little film that stands up to repeated viewings.By the way, Peter Peake who created this great film was also responsible for working on one of the Wallace & Gromit films! Also, there are several other Pib and Pog shorts--though this initial one is the longest.

The first time I saw this was back in 06 in September I think, or no maybe it was October....one of those months anyway. And I laughed so hard! that I thanked my children for recommending it to me. It is suppose to take place on this baby show right after pib and pog get introduced in a very funny way pib holds up a clamshell from the beach then Pog wants a look at it but pib won't let him. From then for almost the whole rest of the show they keep beating each other up in a way so funny that I can't even tell you how funny it is. Then at the end they say goodbye in a way that is just as funny as when they are introducing them. This short film is so hilarious! that it would be my highest recommendation for any Aardman short film collection.10/10
