Doomtomylo
a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction

The Pixies is a very hilarious comedy movie. In the story the main characters are Joe Beck and his pixie rival who keeps pulling tricks on him. Joe Beck encounters danger at every single turn as he tries desperately to avoid punishment by the Pixies for doing something wrong a long time ago. After a while Joe decides that these pixies problems are interfering with his life in every way possible. He finally decides to learn more about the pixie culture. One of the best things that were done with this story is the fact that the fictional pixie history was created by these brilliant people who had a great imagination. Also the animators did a fantastic job with the different character they were assigned to work on. Overall the film gives an interesting link between the real world and the fantasy world of folklore.

Sean Patrick O 'Reilly, who stars as the voice-over for the character of Joe Beck, brings a comic-inspired and interesting film to the big screen. Without giving away any spoilers all that can be said is that the Pixie movie will get promising results at the box office. The reason for this is the plot is captivating and it really pulls the audience in. The great background music was a light and pleasant contrast compared to the loud and obnoxious soundtracks people see in some action movies in the modern age. The music was a perfect choice for the movie, because it kept the story flowing, and didn't serve to merely distract viewers like the other ones we've seen. Technically the movie is brilliant due to the fact that the graphics are high quality and top notch. Sound and voice overs of all the other cast members are excellent and perfect. Pixie the movie tells the story of an auto mechanic who learns his lesson to respect the pixie's environment. The action was just the right amount with fantasy violence and nothing more. It is marvelous for people of all ages to watch, because it has emotional twists that get people drawn into the story.

I don't have a problem with low-budget movies, per-se. I have watched a lot of low budget stuff in my lifetime that has been passably entertaining. But this movie is so poorly done that I'm surprised they actually got real celebrities (Paxton and Plummer) to sign on. We only rented this because the movie we really wanted was unavailable. Plot: This is about a vindictive pixie who enlists his followers to completely destroy the life of a human for the completely egregious and unforgivable crime of...throwing a bag of trash in the river. I get the environmental subtext, but it's pretty flimsy when the pixies bully someone relentlessly. At the end, there's some reconciliation where the pixies realize they've been awful and the human is kind of like "sorry about that thing I did." But the bulk of the film is cheap physical humor. "He gets hit between the legs. hahaha." ugh. Execution: The low- quality animation is rivaled only by the poor sound quality and stale voice-acting. The sound doesn't sync up right most of the time. The actors sound the way I do when I'm tired and my kid asks me to read one more book and I say okay, but I'm just trying to get through it. I know some people said they loved this, so you know. It's subjective I guess. But if you read all of the reviews and still decide to watch this, remember that some of us tried.

Dialogue and animation reminded me of Clutch Cargo. Compared to what is shown today even on TV, a student could do better.Story line about vengeance is not kid friendly even though they make up at the end. If the story is about bullies and vengeance it could have been better portrayed.if I wasn't with my granddaughter I would have left.Learned to never go see a movie that only has 1 showing a day at the theater. If I could have, I would have asked for a refund.
