Tayloriona Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
Aspen Orson There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.
bsimpson189 I was able to hold out to the boat chase scene. Just as the chase starts, good guy pulling away in a boat. Bad guy with assault rifle shoots then puts down rifle grasbs hand gun and shoots. Um, no, rifle was the better weapon of choice. Bad guys get in another boat and catch up to good guys. Why didn't the good guys take the faster boat? They arrivef first and had a choice so they chose the slower boat? Nope, I'm out.
Michael Ledo Our protagonists are thieves. The story centers on Jack (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) a clever thief who comes up with odd schemes. He is aided by sharp shooter Logan (Jenna B. Kelly) who has a dry wit about her. Jack dates a vet (Lydia Hull) as his ex-girlfriend Karen (Claire Forlani) shows up 6 months pregnant claiming Jack is the father. She is in trouble and interests Jack in a heist which crosses Eddie (Bruce Willis). The film includes explosions, car chases, boat chases, and a lot of plot we don't see. In fact the plot was the weak aspect of the film. What was good was the over-the-top characters: a driver who is so drunk he doesn't know where he is in and a shooter who wishes he was dead to get away from his wife.Mark-Paul Gosselaar looks like a leading man. Daniel Bernhardt was Claude Van Damme light. I liked the dialogue and characters more than the plot.Guide: F-word, sex. No nudity. Torrie Wilson in a bikini.
psxp So this film starts off pretty good in the action and setup.. then starts to fail... I see Bruce Willis is cast as the films bad guy (yet again they use the A list Hollywood actor as the draw card and cast him as the bad guy with a couple of tie in scenes...) and has maybe 1 or 2 days of acting to do for this film. Previous low reviews have hit this on the mark. I really thought I had seen this film before. A tired out script/story.
nicholls_les I know I am going to struggle to write enough lines about this movie because it is just bad, end of! Most others on here have said pretty much what I would have but I want to say I agree with them that this is one of the worst movies ever. I watched it on DVD and found myself fast forwarding in the hope it might get better. It didn't.I suppose this movie shows that no matter how good actors think they are, it is all about a good script and good direction, of which this film has neither.Regarding the so called script, do people really swear that much? I sure don't hear that level of profanity but if it really is that bad then what a sad world we live in. Truth is I think the script writers couldn't think of enough different words to use.It does prove one thing though. Bruce Willis is one of the most over rated actors ever.
