Reviews

DubyaHan The movie is wildly uneven but lively and timely - in its own surreal way
Kodie Bird True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
Sameer Callahan It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Roy Hart If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
vincewynne-02577 Simplistic, lean, minamalist sci-fi. Where this movie really shines is the atmosphere. The creators have brought to life a completely believable world much akin to Scott's Alien universe. The performances are also great. Especially from Pedro Pascal and newcomer Sophie Thatcher. However, where the film is lacking a bit is in characterization. You are able to get behind the characters as they strive to complete their task, but you never really get to know them. This may be a conscious choice, but I feel that the film could have benefited from more fleshed out characters. Overall, Prospect is a great exercise in sci-fi world building and I'd say it's a very safe bet for any hardcore sci-fi fan.
