Horrible, fascist and poorly acted

A bit overrated, but still an amazing film

There are better movies of two hours length. I loved the actress'performance.

If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.

'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' retains it's freshness today. There is a foreboding beginning which reminds us of the violent eighties pot-boilers. However, once Aamir and Juhi make an entry, the audience becomes mesmerized by their chemistry. Juhi in particular appears sweet and innocent. Aamir's boyish charm helps us get over his inexperience as an actor. The songs remain magical and are still popular. The second half becomes progressively darker as the romance is threatened. The final section is hackneyed and the film suffers because of it. Still quite watchable.Overall 7/10

I have to say, this is one the best movies that I've ever seen with Aamir Khan. He was so young (and so cute!) in this movie but made a big impression. And I also love Juhi Chawla's role in the movie. She's also so sweet in her roles. But I guess it comes natural to her. I adore the songs in this movie. Especially "Papa Kehte Hain" in the beginning at the College dance. Aamir was a great performer! And the chaperones who danced in the film were great too! If anyone who reads this has not seen this movie and happens to love Hindi movies like me, you have got to watch it! You'll start dancing and singing to the songs and have a blast! Hope you love it as much as me! Bye!

This movie is the best I have so far seen from the Bollywood (I have seen more than 800 films). I just cannot describe the movie. It is just perfect. Each and every scene, each and every dialog looked perfect. The music, one of the most memorable and the story, just excellent. I have watched the movie more than ten times and so far I have not found even a single mistake or some thing like that which could be said improper. Even the last action scene was so perfect that I have very rarely seen such proper directed scenes. If you have not watched the movie, just watch it now. But remember one thing. There should be complete pin drop silence in the room and no body should talk until the end of the movie.

This film is very special to me - it is the first film that touched me and made me cry. I can't remember the year I saw it in, it was so long ago - but I've been looking for it ever since, and I didn't know the Indian title. So much time had passed that I only remember a few images - the color of the sky in the beginning, Raj and Rashmi kissing before they die, the faces of their parents. Still, I am very excited - now that I've found it, I have to see it again.
